Now called Katana. I recently discovered it and have been there several times. I shared it with my family, and they enjoyed it as well.

Walked in and didn’t get waited to sit down for 5 min. Right at 5 pm. Several waitresses looked at us and didn’t offer to seat us . Almost left. Only had two cooks and restaurant was busy. Need more cooks. Had to wait awhile for food. Waitress never refilled our drinks while we ate. Food was good but bigger portions of meat and veggies at Japan inn in Greenville. Did not like the bar vibe at all. Need more of a Japanese atmosphere. Sushi is buy one get one elsewhere. Won’t be paying for sushi in Tarboro. On a good note, our waitress was friendly.

NOT Open yet. They took down "Coming Soon" Banner, the reason why I stopped, since OPEN sign looked lit up. Was hoping to get takeout sushi. Major disappointment. Owner should update Opening date and remove all pics of other locations and menus, just a suggestion. Hoping they'll be better than Wilson reviews.

It’s now called Katana. The food was really good and good portions. Only complaint would be all the grease in the bottom of my lo mein and the spring rolls were really really dark, almost burnt but the egg rolls were good. Besides that the staff are friendly and the place seems clean. Definitely a go to and better than the local Fuji’s now!

Food is amazing !!! One of my favorite places to eat in Wilson, even with the new owner

Gas is expensive and I drove 18 minutes out to try this place out only for it to be closed even though it's listed as open. So I look say the reviews and see this is a common issue. I'll never even attempt to try this place again. If it was a fluke sorta thing then I'd overlook it but it seems to be a problem here.

Service can be a bit slow and not a lot of seating inside. Food is incredible though.

The food is always delicious. This was my first time eatting in and it was a pleasurable experience. The staff was friendly. I look forward to the opening of the new location.

Long wait, mediocre food, overpriced. Steak was the only decent flavored meat. Rice was bland and weird. Waited 45min and employees playing around, place didn't look too clean.

WILL NEVER Order from here again. Me and some coworkers ordered online and I collected money according to the prices online. When I get there the prices online aren't the same as what my order rang up. I asked for a manager who then called the owner "JO" who told me "duh stuff has went up you can get your money back and go somewhere else." worst customer service ever. And this came from the owner.

I ordered the chicken yakisoba and an egg roll. The egg roll was great, but likely was packaged so that might be why.The yakisoba was just bad. The chicken was overcooked and chewy, and the entire dish was drowned in black pepper and salt. This is not yakisoba! I could not taste any hints of soy sauce, or anything remotely Japanese. I managed to eat it after dumping an entire container of teriyaki and sweet pepper sauce on it so it could taste vaguely Japanese. This restaurant needs to save itself and just internet search a better yakisoba recipe because what they have is just not working.

I should have bought ramen packages, a package of chicken breasts, and a thing of frozen veggies, then cooked at home. It would have been cheaper, tastier, and I wouldn't have been in a room with a different color on each wall.

Be nice if they were open when they say they are. Between that and being out of egg roll or sobo noodles, I don't think they're going to last. Food is great. You just never know when you can get what you want. Either because they are closed or because they are out of everything you want!
