I visited the location listed for New South BBQ, but it seems like the place no longer exists. We didn’t see any signs or anything indicating that New South BBQ was there. It was a bit confusing — hopefully they’ve just relocated, but as of now, it doesn't seem to be open.

Florida girl here, so I am not a huge fan if the vinegar based BBQ. This place has The Southern BBQ I am used to and let me just say it was all amazing!!!. I got ribs and brisket with cabbage, yams and a side if baked beans so I could try a little of everything!! Did not disappoint. Thier homemade sauce is also very good. Now I just need me a little something sweet! We will definitely be back! My husband picked mine up and said we needed to go eat there because the inside is awesome as well!

Honestly a bit surprised by this place. Not advertised much and the parking lot in front was absolutely dead when I went. Me, my wife, and a single server were the only ones there at like 6pm on a Friday.
Service was polite, quick, and helpful. The dining and bar areas were quite clean (and I'm a health inspector so I look for things); it was dead while I was there but it looks like it could be busy on certain days/nights and has a large karaoke setup.
Food itself was good/solid but not mind-blowing. The steamed cabbage was legit the best thing I had there--no disrespect because I love steamed cabbage. Mac and cheese was good.
The brisket had a good flavor but wasn't very tender. The ribs were good and had a good texture. My wife got chicken that she said was great. The only real downside is that if you get sauce on the side (or no sauce) then the meat was underseasoned. They seem to rely on the sauce to make sure there is enough salt. Dipped in sauce? Fantastic. Without sauce? A bit bland.
Knowing this for the future I wouldn't turn down a chance to come here.

Went in today randomly, never heard of this place. Ordered the 6 piece wings w sides, 1/2 rack w sauce, and smoked dark meat plate.
Ribs were soft, sauce was good. My only critique is that they tasted boiled to me then slapped on a grill, similar to city bbq (if you’ve ever been there). But they were tasty!
Smoked chicken plate w dark meat was great. Got that for my son who is 5 and picky as all get out and he loved the leg he had. I had the thigh. Thigh meat was cooked perfectly. Not under not over. Sauce was great.
Husband had the wings with also a couple ribs of course lol. He said wings were great. They do the drums and flats separately so they’re not the whole wing in case you’re wondering.
For the sides we got green beans Mac and coleslaw.. Mac and cheese was good but green beans tasted canned but seasoned. Didn’t try the slaw that’s my husband’s thing but he said it was good.
I gave the food 4 stars, we will definitely be back most likely to sit and eat. This time I just got to go. My order was ready in 5 minutes. I did like that part a lot. I gave this place a 3 star for atmosphere because there wasn’t anyone in there at 5pm at all… literally not a soul. They said they get busy for lunch. But I just wonder why no one was in there at 5 on a Saturday. Either way, food was good and the guy that greeted me at the door was super nice and answered all my questions regarding the food.
Pricing, for 3 plates w sides it was $50. Not bad at all.
