First time at this establishment! The food was great but the service was even better. Anytime I visit Wilson, this will be my lunch spot. The southern hospitals couldn’t have been any better.
A friend and I made a trip to Wilson, NC just to have lunch at Parker's Barbecue, one of the best known restaurants on the NC Barbecue Trail. Delicious eastern style, whole hog barbecue with a couple of sides (including Brunswick stew), hush puppies, corn sticks and perfect sweet tea. This restaurant has been around for more than 70 years and is known for its food and not it's atmosphere. No waitresses but efficient young men that are ready to serve your beverage and...
Food is always good here and priced reasonably. We normally go on Sunday afternoons and it is extremely busy. Food comes out quickly and is good. You can order fish but only after 3 PM.
