Paul's of New York Restaurant

My husband and I went here in our first date and then back this past weekend for date night. The food, service, wine, all perfect. Perfect place for date night or family night. 5+ stars!

I always walk into a new restaurant hoping they’ll bring out a chunk of Moms Lasagna.
Sometimes I get lucky. Paul’s Lasagna has all the necessary ingredients and the large portion will leave you some leftovers for tomorrow. Mozzarella sticks were tasty. Salad was fresh and had some of the best blue cheese dressing on it that I’ve encountered.
Service was a little erratic but they were slammed by an extraordinary rush of people.

White table cloth dining, a good wine list, excellent veal parm, and chicken parm. The staff was very courteous.

Nice atmosphere, food was delicious with generous portions and the waitress was great!

My wife and I love the pizza. I particularly favor the steak and cheese sandwich. It is Fantastic!!!

Had the pepperoni, ham and sausage calzone. Amazing. Great service. Will be going again.

Great salads and great pizzas. I'd avoid their red-sauce dishes though - too acidic, trust me! If you go with pasta, go with a vodka-sauce dish to cut that acid down.

This is a real home-town place, lots of charm and not a chain. I like to get takeout from here, prices are good too. Overall a good spot.

First time here, not my cup of tea..i had the chicken marsala The sauce they used tasted more like a watered down brown gravy than marsala. Others in my party said the food was OK, but didn't impress. My wife got the veal piccata, the veal was tough. I may go back and try a more traditional Italian dish, but for me, it didn't seem like the chef was Italian or maybe thier recipes were a little off.

Have been to Paul's few times, and will never go back.
The last two times we have been there I ordered Chicken Marcela and asked for knife to cut my chicken and I was told that we don't have knifes, really????
And last night there were four of us and order four dinners and we asked for an extra plate, and we were told there's a $7.00 charge. A $7.00 charge for what???
We are done with Paul's there are other places to spend my money.

It was disgusting an over priced they should be ashamed of the food they serve an the service they gave me

Door says hours are till 9:00 pm. Show up cash in hand and as healthy tippers ready for a good meal at 8:05. Somebody steps in and tells our waiter with an attitude “tell them they have 10 minutes to get their order in” this is before we even get sat down good. We order drinks and start to look the menu over. Our waitress brings us our drinks by 8:11 and says “I may have time to give you all one more round” Complete disrespect and terrible customer service. We felt extremely rushed and disrespected. We payed for our drinks and left. I could understand if we showed up at 8:45, but showing up nearly an hour before the place closes and getting treated like that is unbelievable. This place will never get another dollar of my money and I’ll influence others decisions as much as I can.

We were a large part (8) we had a great server and the food was all excellent.

Service seemed rushed, and the food was ok. The salads were a little underwhelming but the bread was really good.



Parking: The prices were strange...I ordered a large stuffed shells and received three shells...there was an option for a small stuffed shells that was a little over a dollar less.
