I love this place. I haven't been there in awhile so the other day my coworker asked what I wanted for lunch and I said Sugar Plum. As always it was delicious. The box lunch they have with a chicken salad sandwich, lays potato chips, deviled egg and carrot cake for dessert.

My husband had a job in Wilson today and he stopped by this gem of a bakery to buy me a special treat. A+. Fantastic!!! He actually bought me an entire box of treasures and each and every one was better than the last! So fresh and delicious. I'd make a special trip to Wilson from Raleigh/Wake Forest to purchase from this outstanding establishment!!! Thank you for being SO good.!!!

Pulled up to window at 5:26 immediately they shut the lights off then one came to the window and said we close at 5:30 and I said it’s not 530 it’s 526 and it and showed them time on phone and note on google that says still open. it was 526 I need exactly what I want I have my cash already and instead of helping they fussed at me.Please Don’t get me wrong I love the sugarplum shop and I have always gone there. I go atleast once if not twice a week to the sugarplum shop at the drive-through on the corner whether I walk in or whether I go through the drive-through I’ve never had a response I had tonight I was a slightly shocked.I just am curios if they are not helping anyone after 520-525 then why not just change your hours so that it’ll say that the place is closed online instead of that it’s opened.

The half and half (chicken salad/pimento cheese) sandwiches are always good; however, the sandwiches have been getting slack. I usually look forward to a lunchbox every time I’m in town from VA. My last 3-4 visits have been a bit disappointing. Mostly bread….hardly any chicken salad/pimento cheese. I’ll still support local small businesses though. ~Veleka
