We need more black, brown food stores ,hospital ,sports teams,recreation all blacks places so we can go an enjoy one another without being treated racist or looked at sideways thanks Sylvia for carrying on the torch

I'm so happy I found this spot. I travel through Wilson for work on a pretty regular basis. I usually end up eating at some uneventful chain restaurant. Not anymore! I will be frequenting this spot each time I'm in town. The food is very reasonably price and good portions are provided. There was a short wait time and staff was very polite. The food, especially the sauce, is absolutely AMAZING!!

The food is simply scrumptious, everything is scratch made. No frozen processed meats and veggies....it's REAL food. I have had NOTHING here that was not wonderful. The staff is always super nice and helpful. They are closed on Sunday and Monday, so plan your trip around that so you won't be sad, lol. If you want brisket, don't go late, or you'll miss out. It's real food smoked fresh (and that's a long process), so when it's gone, it's gone. This is my favorite place in town, and I have eaten at 99% of restaurants in Wilson!
