Went this week and can’t honestly say it was one of the worst steaks I’ve ever had. The staff was very friendly, but can’t make up for the poor steak. Salad bar was fine, onion and potato was great but the steak was so disappointing. I normally wouldn’t post a negative review but the cost of this place is absurd so to have a bad piece of meat like that is unacceptable. There were three of us and we all agreed. That will be my last visit.
Until tonight, I hadn’t been to Beefmastor Inn in a few years. My Dad used to take us there when I was younger to celebrate special occasions from time to time. The last meal I had there was with my parents on my birthday in 2021. My Dad is no longer with us to share in celebrations anymore. So, after the funeral of a close family friend today, the day after my Dad’s birthday (in Heaven) and effectively the first day of Christmas Break for my children; I decided to take them to Beefmastor Inn to end an emotional day, celebrate the start of Christmas for us and my Dad’s memory. The kindness of the staff and diligent service to the quality of the steak we were served left nothing to be desired. The salad bar is still the best around, the steaks were cut table side right from the whole ribeye roast and then cooked to perfection. Our plates were complete with baked potatoes and bread. Our drinks were never allowed to be empty. Our experience was a 10 out of 10. I know there has been some recent social media back and forth about whether Beefmastor is worth it anymore and whether it had gone downhill or changed for the worse. You’ll have to visit them and answer for yourself, but my answer is…our expectations were met or exceeded in our dinner experience tonight. If you like great service, a great overall meal with GREAT ribeye steak…it is time for you stop by the Beefmastor Inn and see if it brings a smile to your face like it did for my wife and four children tonight. Thank you, Beefmastor Inn for an incredible dinner tonight. I’d like to think my Dad smiled in Heaven tonight as he watched us together at one of his favorite places for special moments. A+

BEST STEAK AND SALAD BAR EVER!!! Definitely recommend!
Over priced. Dining area needs a good scrubbing.
The steak was absolutely excellent and I know that food prices in general have increased substantially but the price of this meal was extraordinarily high. You couldn't tell judging from the appearance of the outside or really even the inside that it was going to be astronomical as far as prices. I guess that the tip off should have been that there were only 10 tables, no menu (only 1 menu item as a choice) and that they came to the table with a slab of raw steak and asked how much you wanted and how you wanted it cooked. We assumed at that point that it would be high but not nearly as high as it was. If you have a ton of money that you can afford to spend, the steak is good. We both felt slightly deceived that we had no idea beforehand that it was going to be so expensive. Incredible.
The worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. The steak is cheap quality, not seasoned, the salad bar reminded me of Ponderosa. I literally can’t believe we drove an hour for this terrible meal, atmosphere and horrible location. I didn’t even want to eat when I walked in the place. I stayed because my man chose it and heard it was great steak. They charged $58 for my stead and $62 for his 10oz. I don’t do salad bars so I didn’t go near it, but with the clientele eating there, watching them go to salad bar definitely made me not want to eat it. I can’t believe anyone would think this is a good steak, ours are 💯 times better on our charcoal Weber, but we use USDA Prime. We could have paid the same price for a larger USDA Prime ribeye at Sullivan’s or Ruth Chris Steakhouse. I have not one positive thing to say about our food or atmosphere.
No frills, just great food. Enjoyed the friendly owner and staff. A must dining experience. Have recommended it to all of our friends. You won’t leave hungry. Cooked to perfection. Thank you,
Stopped in for dinner while on a road trip. A unique experience as they only serve one thing: Ribeye steak with baked potato, Texas toast and a salad bar. Salad bar was great, and food was good. Very fun having the chef bring the Ribeye to your table and cut your steak in front of you. Seemed a little pricey for the quality of the steak. It was a GOOD steak, but not a great steak. $62 for a 10 oz with salad bar, potato, toast and iced tea.
Definitely recommend checking it out!

We eat here a couple of times a year. Not sure we will anymore. The steaks are thinner and cost more than they used to. 3 of us with a drink each was $210 plus tip. The 8 oz cut used to be more than I could eat. The new steak was really thin, and hardly had any marbling. Shrinkflation. Disappointing, to say the least.

We were recommended this place by AI when going up 95 (for being supposedly one of the best steaks). It's fresh for sure and was cooked pretty well.
The restaurant itself is very small. I think there were about 12 tables in close proximity. The lighting was low and nice for the atmosphere. I had to wipe down two of the chairs before sitting, so that wasn't a plus, especially for such an expensive place.
They bring the whole ribeye to your table and cut your portion based off the size you select. There is only one thing to eat, ribeye with baked potatoes and salad bar. While it was good, I think $60 per person is too much for 8oz and the quality.
Again, it's good, but for the price I would expect better and another letdown is that the price is not posted anywhere, not even on their menu. It made me wonder if we were up-charged because we looked like we were from out of town.
Overall, it was nice to try, but I would not go out of my way again to come here.
