The worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. The steak is cheap quality, not seasoned, the salad bar reminded me of Ponderosa. I literally can’t believe we drove an hour for this terrible meal, atmosphere and horrible location. I didn’t even want to eat when I walked in the place. I stayed because my man chose it and heard it was great steak. They charged $58 for my stead and $62 for his 10oz. I don’t do salad bars so I didn’t go near it, but with the clientele eating there, watching them go to salad bar definitely made me not want to eat it. I can’t believe anyone would think this is a good steak, ours are 💯 times better on our charcoal Weber, but we use USDA Prime. We could have paid the same price for a larger USDA Prime ribeye at Sullivan’s or Ruth Chris Steakhouse. I have not one positive thing to say about our food or atmosphere.
Stopped in for dinner while on a road trip. A unique experience as they only serve one thing: Ribeye steak with baked potato, Texas toast and a salad bar. Salad bar was great, and food was good. Very fun having the chef bring the Ribeye to your table and cut your steak in front of you. Seemed a little pricey for the quality of the steak. It was a GOOD steak, but not a great steak. $62 for a 10 oz with salad bar, potato, toast and iced tea.
Definitely recommend checking it out!

We were recommended this place by AI when going up 95 (for being supposedly one of the best steaks). It's fresh for sure and was cooked pretty well.
The restaurant itself is very small. I think there were about 12 tables in close proximity. The lighting was low and nice for the atmosphere. I had to wipe down two of the chairs before sitting, so that wasn't a plus, especially for such an expensive place.
They bring the whole ribeye to your table and cut your portion based off the size you select. There is only one thing to eat, ribeye with baked potatoes and salad bar. While it was good, I think $60 per person is too much for 8oz and the quality.
Again, it's good, but for the price I would expect better and another letdown is that the price is not posted anywhere, not even on their menu. It made me wonder if we were up-charged because we looked like we were from out of town.
Overall, it was nice to try, but I would not go out of my way again to come here.

I visited this steakhouse after a friend's strong recommendation, and I have to say, I was blown away! The food was absolutely amazing, and even on a busy Saturday night, the service was quick and friendly. My experience here truly reminded me of the great dining experiences of the past. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great place to eat, but since I’m not from here ( immigrant ) diners kept looking at us weird.

BIG IDEA: Great steak
I felt the need to review this classic restaurant after having a couple "Fancy" steak dinners half way around the world. Beefmastor is excellent. I mean that in the purest form, in that they excel. The closest steak I've had in NC is in the dining room at the Biltmore, but Wilson's own Beefmastor was better. People will tell you to go to Angus Barn (which is delicious in its own right), but I've been there a handful of times and have never had a steak as good as that from the Beefmastor.
Thoreau said it best: "simplify simplify simplify"
You get to make a salad.
You get a steak of your choice in size.
You get a baked potato.
If you're kind, you can ask for an onion if that's your speed.
Understand my sincerity in saying you don't need anything else.

Amazing restaurant! No menu, you have a ribeye steak, salad bar, baked potato and that's it. Just pick the size you want your steak to be. 8 oz minimum up to.....
