The Kountry Kitchen Reviews
Having been a customer for several years, the place changed owners. Sadly, quality has suffered. Some of the food is still good, but corners are being cut. There is less attention to detail. Ribs cooked until they have the texture of jerky. Thick skinned cucumbers used unpeeled. Food obviously untasted. Very disappointed after paying $12+ a pound for takeout.
The food is not hot like it was with previous owners. I used to eat with others there twice a week havent been it 3 weeks .Cold food not good bring back the heat.
Delicious food and excellent customer service
The Kountry Kitchen is a charming restaurant that serves delicious country-style food. Breakfast is made to order and fresh, with a variety of options to choose from. The service is top-notch, with friendly and prompt staff. Lunch is also a treat, with hot and fresh food available even close to closing time. Homemade treats like banana pudding and mac and cheese are popular, and the chicken pastry is a crowd-pleaser. The restaurant offers a range of vegetarian options, including yams, corn, green beans, slaw, mixed vegetables, potato salad, and pickled vegetables. Parking is available in the lot, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
Visitors have praised the Kountry Kitchen for its excellent country-style cooking. One customer, a visitor from Orlando, FL, was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant and particularly enjoyed the Big Kountry breakfast and the omelette platter. Another customer, who had been following the restaurant on Facebook, was impressed by the flavor of the country cooking, especially the fried pork chops and yams. While the customer enjoyed the overall dining experience, they were disappointed with the hot banana pudding, as they prefer it cold. Overall, the Kountry Kitchen is a great choice for a delicious and satisfying meal.
