As visitors from Orlando, FL, we were pleasantly surprised with Kountry Kitchen. My son absolutely loved their Big Kountry breakfast. I had the omelette platter. All of our meals were excellent. I can promise you will not leave hungry. Our server Toryn was friendly, polite and helpful. I highly recommend a visit to Kountry Kitchen.

Went for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely horrible. They can do better than this. Told the management about the situation and she smiles and says come back. No way!!!!!!

We had the lunch buffet. We were checked on several times by staff. The food was OK, but definitely not impressive. I guess this is what happens when you come from a family that really knows how to cook. It was $30 for the two of us. This place has very good reviews, which is why we tried it, but it was not a good value in my opinion.

I really wish my experience with the food was better. Everything else about the restaurant is very rustic and homey and lives up to their name. Maybe it was just an off day for the food as I did get there at 1 pm for the buffet and got a to go plate. I don’t think I loaded it up too much but the price was $18 for lunch which gave me sticker shock as the buffet is all you can eat and $13. Oh well. Would have been worth it I guess to support a local establishment except the food wasn’t appealing. My portions were small. I had super dry chicken breast that was caked in bbq sauce although the sauce helped me not to choke on it too much. The butter beans were over salted as was the banana pudding make them inedible. Hushpuppies were ok. I had a small scoop of white rice that was over boiled and wet. I did have two small pieces of tenderloin w gravy which is not common for me but this was very tender and tasty.

If I go back I will stick w the tenderloin and gravy. In the past I had the baked spaghetti and it was awesome. My advice choose your days to go as they do have some tasty dishes but today wasn’t the day and more of my fault as had I known what was on the buffet I may have held off

I will go back

Food is pretty bland. Hush puppies were ok. Deviled eggs ok. Pork chops severely over cooked. Chicken greasy and chewy. Pot pie mad with old frozen vegetables. Ribs just drenched in sauce. Gravy Chunky as all get up. Frozen biscuits. The place hasn’t been updated(carpets, chairs, tables) since 1980 and you can smell it. Definitely don’t recommend unless they make some serious updates to recipes and decor.
