My wife and I had a very nice Sunday lunch at Western Sizzlin Of Wilson. They were super busy, yet our meal was hot, fresh & fast and the wait staff was friendly, kind, & attentive! Good stuff!
March 2024. On a positive note my toast and potato were ok. My waitress was also very professional. But...
They apparently have duel pricing. There is the price you see up on the menu sign, and then there is the price you pay when they jack it up at the cash register. Very sneaky and deceitful. They cheated me once, but they can't cheat me again if I do not return. There are other restaurants in Wilson, and they will instead be getting my money from now on. I've been visiting Western Sizzlin since it opened when I was a child, but I won't be going back. To my waitress, you were probably irritated about your small tip, but you need to discuss it with management. I spent the remainder of your tip at checkout where they jacked up the price of the buffet.
ADVICE ON ORDERING A STEAK: In my experience there the cooks tend overcook the steaks so order with that in mind. If you like your steaks well done you're in luck. Medium rare? You might be disappointed.
Wheelchair accessibility: I think the front dining room is wheelchair-accessible. The restroom and buffet? Not so much.

The wife and I have been here several times and have found it to be consistent every time. Buffet is ok/average and priced well, service is good and the atmosphere is not bad. Can get very crowded on Fri nights (seafood) and Sun after church. Looks to be a local eatery with nice folks.

Well the buffet is only chicken and cheap cheap tilapia. The service was bad well cause they don’t have enough workers. My wife’s potato came out cold butter stayed cold !! An my sweet potato skin was so burnt the whole potato tasted like that. They didn’t explain how buffet works. Was are first time A were not going back. They have mirrors to make it look like a lot when u come in but it’s only about three lil stream tables. We order steak after we saw an then they said me an my wife couldn’t share an 11oz steak after we tipped an didn’t like are service or the food on the line yeah no more

We went on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed. The buffet was basically southern home cooking. Flavor of the foods wasn't the best. All staff was very friendly. Our server was very attentive and kept our drink glasses filled. She made sure we had plenty of plates. I will go again. It just wasn't the best food.

Not as good as the Pooler, GA location. Food was mediocre and the hot bar was messy. Nothing to brag about except it seems to be a local favorite.

Dietary restrictions: Food was not the problem! The service and treatment by management was egregious! Was poked ro move so someone else could have the table. I who am handicapped and disabled was told the tables are first come first served. I tried to explain to the Manager I could not stand in line, but my daughter was in line paying as we spoke. She said; no receipt no table. I needed to .ove on. I have never. My life been asked to move from a table in any restaurant for any reason.i would not advise, in ite or suggest this Western Si clinic Restaurant to any one I know!!!!!!
