WhirliDogs Café and Training Center

Came in, got a menu then got a grilled cheese for my grandmother, and I got like, 16 Oz of just Mac N Cheese. Food was phenomenal, and definitely very underpriced. I love that they support different people of all kinds of disabilities and train them for work in the real world!! I have been really happy with their service and next year's whirligig festival... This will definitely be where I go to eat with the family!!

Whirlidogs Cafe is great! The menu is full of wonderful choices.
I had the California grilled cheese, and a cup of their delicious gnocchi soup. I wish I had taken a picture, but We were famished before stepping in. This is an amazing affordable non-profit jewel in downtown Wilson.

After spending a fun morning at Whirligig Park, my grandson and I stopped by Whirligig Café in Wilson, NC — and it was the perfect spot to grab lunch. The café has a warm, inviting vibe with friendly staff and a menu that offers something for everyone. My grandson ordered the kids’ hot dog meal and couldn’t have been happier. It came out just right — fresh, flavorful, and sized perfectly for him. He devoured it and gave it a big thumbs up!

As for me, I decided to try their Chicago Dog, and I’m so glad I did. It was delicious — loaded with traditional toppings, including mustard, relish, onions, sport peppers, and that signature pickle spear. The flavors were spot-on, and the bun was fresh and soft, holding everything together without being soggy. It really hit the spot and brought back some classic Midwest memories.

We sat near the window and enjoyed a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. It’s clear this café is a local favorite, and I can see why. Great food, fast service, and a convenient location right by the park make this a must-visit if you’re in Wilson. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

Was in Wilson checking out the Whirligig park. A local couple overheard us talking about getting something to eat and recommended WhirliDogs.
The food was delicious, and the salted caramel coffee malt shake was a wonderful creation.

I had a delicious grilled cheese and the best ever baked beans!!! Service was fantastic and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Perfect place for my friend and I to have a tasty lunch. I really wanted the ice cream but was just too full to hold it. Also purchased a nice Whirli Dogs T-shirt while there. What a wonderful place for nice people to get a great start in the workforce. Highly recommend!!!

Had a layover in Wilson and got a hotdog and Mac and cheese. Both where delicious. Ice cream for dessert. The cashier exemplified southern hospitality. Highly recommend.
