Our favorite restaurant in Winston-Salem by a long shot! Consistently excellent across the board with over 100 visits over the last 10 years. The chef Curtis is a mushroom forager so any dish with mushrooms is a must try. For a “fine dining” establishment it is remarkably unostentatious and laid back. Check out this little hidden gem of a restaurant today!

We went there for the first time on Wednesday. The food was absolutely delicious. We started off with the brussel sprouts. For main dishes, I had the crab ravioli and my husband had the pan seared scallops. Everything from the food to the service was amazing. We will definitely be back!

The Caesar salad was delicious with real anchovies on it! Yum! Our family treated us for our anniversary and we all had fabulous dinners we all enjoyed. Mine was Trout with bbq rub and tantalizing spinach and asparagus. The topping on Trout was a succatash with green olives. Tasty treat. Be back for another dinner soon. Thank you!!

Everything about this place screams that the owners are arrogant and do not need to make money. Co owner just nasty for no reason and thinks she is better than everyone. Food is no good. Service no good. They do not deserve your businessParking: There is always tons of parking because they do not know how to treat people. I challenge you to ride by and their tiny parking lot is never full.

Food and service are excellent. It's on my favorites list. Always something new on the menu.

I was really excited to try this "vegan friendly" restaurant. However, there were only a couple options. It took a while for anyone to acknowledge our presence to take our drink order. The food was not worth the price we paid. On a positive note, they were very friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

This is the best place in Winston-Salem Salem for creative cuisine. Curtis Hackaday the chef is a culinary genius. I always want everything on the menu and am never disappointed. They have the best brunch in Winston-Salem. A must try.

I went with a large group and the service was fantastic. We sat outside and it was a great atmosphere. I’ve been meaning to try 1703 for a long time, it was worth the wait.

Great food with innovative twists, like the creamy cauliflower. Crab cakes were 100% crab. Succotash tasted like summer center. Fresh!

First time visit for a date night. Small restaurant feel with terrific service and food! From the burratta and starter Caesar the staff was welcoming and did not disappoint. It was challenging to decide based on the menu options but with help we down-selected to the salmon and lamb loin - both were cooked to perfection and had great flavors. Many dessert options to choose from and the blueberry tart and key lime pie were the perfect ending. My only regret is we took no pictures. Will definitely be returning and recommend!
