Great food, came with lots of consume, lots of cilantro, onions, radish. Consume had good spice and flavor, tortillas had crunch. Good service.

I am seriously considering moving back home to Winston Salem to be closer to this food truck. It's impossible for me only order one thing at a time and I end up with 3 different meals because EVERYTHING is absolutely ridiculously amazing! Their food is only the absolute best, but they are always incredibly friendly and fast. 12/10 recommend!!!!

Y'all. The service was fast, friendly, and they got my order perfect. But y'all. The real star was the food (as is only right). I've been twice now, and have not been disappointed. This time we had several in our group and we all ordered something different. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious. I ordered huaraches both times, because even though I wanted to try something new, the huaraches con pastor are, frankly, a perfect food. They got everything right, from texture to flavor to portion size (it's a LOT of food for the money). Would 100% recommend.

Food Truck on the corner of Waughtown and Vargrave. This relatively new taco trailer has been in the same spot for many months. It's bright red, has good signage, a 99 on their health inspection, and a nice owner. He has worked for Cin Cin Burger Bar and 4th Street Filling Station, and is now giving it a go with his own food truck called La Oaxaqueña. The pronunciation is Lah Wa-hah-ken-yah... as I'm sure many will butcher their name if they chose something other than Spanish for their language class in high school. Now the food: these are some heavy tacos!!! They do not skimp on the meat. In fact they might be the heaviest in town. The chorizo is usually my favorite, but not tonight... and not because the chorizo wasn't good, it was, but the other meats stole the show. They do have birria, which was heavy, but not served with the consume since I only had one. The two favorites were the cabeza, which is beef head, and is sooooo tender, juicy and rich as there is a greasiness to cabeza tacos everywhere. This taco felt like it weighed 1/3 pound and was the only one served with two tortillas, and these are the thick, handmade tortillas at that. The surprise delight was the buche. It's not on too many menus locally so I had to get one. Buche is pork stomach... but it's not like tripas or menudo in any way. This is meaty, has some great crispy parts and sometimes chewy parts. But no matter the texture, these had so much flavor. The tacos are served with a grilled jalapeño, red and green salsas, and plenty of sautéed onions. These are some of the best in town. So the next time you're headed to El Rancho for your taco fix, just around the corner is this awesome truck that is serving up some great food. They also offer tlayudas, tostadas, gorditas, tortas, nachos, burritos and more. They are cash only, but also can use the Cash App. Be brave, try the buche or cabeza!
