Totally recommended! Food is delicious, and the attention makes you feel at home ?I had the most tasteful and delicious CALZONE ? I think I’m still dreaming about it! I got it veggie and added some bacon because why not? And omg! No regrets. Plus the small size is so big that had enough for next day! Loved the place and definitely would go back soon.
Got a Meat Lovers pizza yesterday. It was sooo good. What really stands out is not that the pizza is loaded with ingredients, but that the quality of the ingredients is excellent. Love the bacon on this pizza. Usually on a loaded pizza, you don't even notice the bacon, but the bacon they use is extra thick, flavorful, and chewy. The Supreme pizza is also great, if you want more veg. The crust is consistently flavorful. They are also super polite and fast with orders.
Gave 3 stars because the pizza was just okay. Nothing special. Also online prices and what they charged inside was not the same. They even had a cheaper price advertised on the door for a 2 topping pizza. Door said $12.95 online said $13.50. I left paying $18. I was not in the mood to ask why so I just paid it. In my opinion this place is over hyped. Can't see this place staying open for much longer.
Prices are great compared to most. Pizza is good!! And service is awesome!!
I had been hearing about Slice of Napoli pizza. Tried it for the first time today. I’m really, really satisfied with my pizza. My pizza taste was out of this world. I will definitely be going back again anytime I want pizza. If you like pizza you should definitely try them!
We were going to be driving through Winston area and our were wanting pizza. Did a google search for “best pizza by the slice” in Winston area. Slice of Napoli was one of the results. Used the 4.8 star rating as a guide, and we were not disappointed! We ended up not getting it by the slice, and instead we got a large pizza, basket of fries, and our daughter got a dessert. Everything was amazing! Will definitely be back!
I really really hate when a restaurant charges you for sauce and then doesn't even give you the sauce. It was delivered so not like I could check before I got home. Sure it's only fifty cents but that adds up. And if fifty cents wasn't a big deal they wouldn't charge you in the first place.Mozzarella sticks were pretty eh. Not very hot but can't blame them. Tasted a lot like frozen Costco ones. Pizza very greasy and salty.
I thought the pizza was a little salty... And noticeably oily . However, I got the impression that there were a lot of repeat customers there. families and friends just enjoying themselves so.. apparently people like it like itsalty etc. The restaurant is not fancy but it's clean. The waitress was pleasant as well as the people at the counter. Will I go back? I don't think so because I have to watch my blood pressure , especially, with the sodium situation....but I think most people will like the experience.
Delicious NY style pizza with affordable prices! I got the large pizza with two toppings for takeout, and I couldn't wait to get home before devouring three slices in the car! The cheese was gooey and salty, the garlic was spicy and tasty, the basil added the extra flavor boost, and the crust was crunchy! That was such a wonderful, delicious experience without going to NY for!I hope that my review will let local foodies know how great this place is. I especially hope A Piece of Napoli will continue to deliver the best quality of food without raising the prices.
Parking: Lots of available parking spaces.
New to area. My son and I are trying all pizza places in the area. We luckily stopped in here and were impressed with the pizza, prices, and service. A great little place tucked away in the plaza. Always consistent. Take it from a long island boy...check them out!!!

This place is so good. My new favorite place. Excellent food, reasonably priced and super friendly. Clean, quick and on top of their game.
The food is so good. But outside of the food being good, the staff is spectacular. From the person who took our order (Chris) to the owner (Daniel). They work as a team. No job is too big or too small for a person. Everyone pitches in to make sure that their customers have an amazing dining experience. Whether they're eating in or taking it out. I had the Chicken Philly and it's the best I've had in Winston, hands down! What took the cake, Chris even brought our to-go pizza out to us. My husband and I had walked to Ollie's to make a quick purchase. And when he brought the pizza out he looked and saw us walking from Ollie's and met us in the parking lot. I was very impressed with that young man! We will be back.
Tried them when our local places were closed and we are glad we did! Great service and great food. A winning combination. We are from NY so it’s hard to get good NY style in NC but this place hit the mark. Will definitely be back again!
I have been ordering pizza from here for a few months and it has been delicious! Best pizza in town. Especially the Sicilian. But the last two times we ordered it, it was horrible. This has been in the last two weeks. The dough tastes stale, the ingredients don’t seem as fresh. It is a totally different experience from the past. I don’t know if there is someone new cooking or new management or what, but the quality is not the same. I wanted to give them another try, because we all have bad days, but this was two different experiences two weeks apart. ??♀️ Update: FOOD IS AMAZING AGAIN! ?
4-6-22 Hubs and I went here today for lunch and proceeded to eat ourselves into a blissful coma. Brad was our server and he was so nice, accommodating and efficient. I ordered the small steak and cheese Stromboli and asked for it to be fried. Hubs ordered the large regular Stromboli, also fried and we had french fries as an appetizer. Daniel, the owner, stopped by our table and made the suggestion to switch to calzones, since we wanted them fried. He said the combination of mozzarella and ricotta melted together were.. (this is where he made a face that perfectly conveyed deliciousness)…so we both changed our order. Hubs went with the large ham, cheese, ricotta and mozzarella and I changed to the small, sliced sausage, ricotta and mozzarella. The crinkle fries were great and nicely seasoned. But let me tell you, when the calzones hit the table… Geez Louise! Daniel let us take pictures before he cut them. You can see from the pictures that they were a beautiful golden brown, sprinkled with pepper and Parmesan cheese. The only thing better than their appearance was the taste. I am not exaggerating when I say they tasted like heaven on earth. Daniel said in Napoli, the fried calzones are considered “street food” and they are eaten like a sandwich. We cut ours into wedges and did just that. The crispness, the smooth creamy cheeses and the meat were such a fantastic combination. The marinara offers the perfect edge to the richness and it’s so good, I could eat it with a spoon. We shared wedges and took half of the large and a third of the small, as leftovers. While we waited on the box, I ended up cutting the crust edge off of mine and ate it plain. It was like a savory donut. They really could fry that crust then toss in cinnamon and sugar for a dessert. (Daniel: hint, hint) We also ordered a Sicilian pizza to go. Because Daniel’s calzone advice was so spot on, we asked him to do a Chef’s Choice. He told us he chose sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms and extra cheese. It is an 8 pound thing of beauty. Yes, I weighed it… eight pounds! We plan to eat some tonight and we will freeze the rest.Quick question: Have you ever gone to a business where the employee stares at you through the glass doors, but they wait until the last second to unlock the door? Well, at A Slice Of Napoli, they appreciate your business and even though we didn't have our nose to the glass, he turned on the OPEN sign and unlocked at 10:50! He told us to sit anywhere since we were his first customers. In regard to Covid measures, they require masks, they wore masks and the cook may have had on gloves, but I couldn't see him. Every other booth was marked DO NOT USE and anytime he was going to come to our table he washed his hands - that was very appreciated. Now let's get to the fun part...the food.My sister ordered the 2 slice special, plain cheese. I tasted it - you know, in the interest of science - and because she kept making yummy sounds. It was so cheesy that you couldn't see any exposed sauce and it had to be whole milk mozzarella because of its pulliness (there's your defense sentence for Scrabble, you're welcome). The sauce was tasty as was the crust, no burnt spots, very foldable.I ordered the meatball sub and crinkle fries. As we all know, there are 4 components to a meatball sub. Bread, meatballs, marinara and cheese. Each component can either make or break the sub, so when you get all 4 components working together in perfect harmony, well my friend, you've tasted paradise. The was bread 6-8"and was toasted perfectly, you get a crusty top that cracks easily, so no sore mouth, the marinara was very flavorful, the meatballs tasted like a mix of pork and beef and the texture was soft but not mushy and the cheese! A thick layer of fully melted mozzarella sealed the deal! I ate every bite of the sub which only left room for a few fries. They were crunchy outside with soft puffy potato on the inside and a sprinkling of seasoned salt. The owners were so nice and accommodating and the the food was
