one of my favorite places in Winston-Salem before I knew they didn't take credit cards they still served me and told me to bring the money later what restaurant you know that would have done that breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is always delicious &no matter what time of the year they always have my chitlins truly a hidden gem

This little place houses friendly people and delicious food! The fish was fried up micw and golden brown. The veggies was pretty good. I would go back... from the outside it looks like a no but the best places to eat are the hole in the wall.... the little place you never expected to be so good.

Ackingnas is a tiny take out only spot located on New Walkertown road don't blink because you might miss it. They are also a cash only establishment. They offer a variety of soul food items. I'm a huge fan of their beef tips , fried chicken , meatloaf and their lasagna (offered on Thursdays ). Each day they serve different things. Some of my fav sides are the Mac and cheese, the cabbage and their green beans. They are friendly people and you can not beat the prices. I eat here atleast once a week!
