Over 500 teas to choose from!!! The perfect place for tea exploration! If you want to take a small group (8 or less), and have tea or just pull up at the bar seats with a friend, and let Mr. Wade brew up something he recommends, you will not be disappointed!!! He makes SHRUB DRINKS too!! Mr. Wade is BEYOND educated in his knowledge of teas. My tea business Emerald Owl Herbal Teas & Apothecary is thriving today because of the service he gives when we need special customer orders on tea blends.
Best tea shop Ive been too. We used to live in the area for a couple years. We try to stop by and get our favorite teas whenever we are close by. Give this place a try. Owner is very nice, and helpful. Makes pretty good desserts too.
Can’t say enough good! High quality organic black read and delicious fruit blends. Wade is super helpful as well.
A lot of tea variations and unique items in this store. A little bit expensive but what isn't expensive these days. Around $4.00 for a ounce of loose leaf tea. $6.00 & up on there boxes of tea bags.
I've been a steady customer since 2006. Angelina's is the standard by which I measure all other tea shops, but so far I've found none that compare. The selection of teas and Wade's knowledge of them are both extensive.
EDIT: The above review is from 12 years ago, and it is still 100% accurate. I continue to regularly order tea from Angelina's and have now been a very satisified customer for over 19 years.
The teashop owner is kind and knowledgeable! He'll help you find the perfect tea, no matter what you like!
No.longer sells used books, but still sells lovely tea, chocolates, tea ware, handcrafted pottery and wood tableware, and lots of luxury treats!
Great place. Owner is a good guy too. Will continuously keep going back.
Delightful tea shop. Incredible selection and stupid cheap prices. Will ship tea across the country too which has saved me a bundle. The owner is wonderful to chat with and there are always assorted characters hanging out. Truly a magical place.
I stopped by for the first time since they are a satellite store for Peak Olive Oil Company based in Cary. I was completely surprised by their other offerings! So many variety of teas, tea ware, cook ware, and gourmet food items! I will definitely stop by again to explore their selection

Luv the variety of olive oils
So im new to tea and still learning. I listed what I have tried that i liked and didn't like and my weird allergies. The shopkeeper helped me narrow down 3 teas out of hundreds to try and gave me some tips on things to look out for on my tea journey. It sure was faster and more relaxing than trying to read the ingredient lists of the grocery store teas. I learned a lot and I've already tried one of the teas and I really like it. Oh and the shop has other cute things like olive oil and spices that would make great gifts. Really cool place to just look around and see what calls you.
If you want tea this is the place to go, the owner was behind the counter, and I had questions, he made the time to answer them and helped me considerably
I first came here as a non-tea enthusiast because my tea enthusiast friend wanted to come. Angelina's very quickly turned me into a tea enthusiast & now I can appreciate how fortunate Winston-Salem is to have their tea selection! The owner is very nice and helpful. I'm surprised by the reviews saying he was rude, I've experienced his sarcasm and always taken it as lighthearted and funny.
If i could give this place 8 stars, I would.
This is by far the highest quality tea shop in winston salem. A total hidden gem!!! The shop owner is kindhearted, warm, and helpful. He has an extensive wealth of knowledge of tea and flavor pairings. And he will tell you about them if you kindly ask. I've found that approaching a selection this large (more than 600 jars of tea!!!!) is easier to sort through if you ask specific questions about the teas themselves rather than broad or open-ended "anything goes" questions. This place is a quick stop or an "explore for hours" kind of place if you're a curious type.
Other than the 600+ teas, my favorite things to stop by to get are their chocolate truffles that are to-die-for.
This shop is also wonderful for European spices, oils, matcha, pottery, and tea wares. They've got interesting sorts of olive oils, avocado oils, Italian noodles, etc. That I didn't even know existed!
If you're looking for unique, high-quality imported goods from Europe or well-made pottery, or just a really nice small business to support, this is the best place you'll find in Winston Salem.
