Hibachi here can never disappoint, but sometimes it does depend on the chef. Service is good. It just depends if it's super busy. Again, I love this place, but a few upgrades to the dining areas wouldn't hurt!

I recently visited Arigato Hibachi and was thoroughly disappointed. The ambiance was lacking, with dirty walls and a ceiling that desperately needed attention. The overall atmosphere felt uninviting and neglected. As for the food, it was less than mediocre—flavorless and unappealing. I expected much more from a hibachi restaurant. I won’t be returning.

The food was excellent. First time going here for a birthday celebration. We had a reservation but still waited in the holding area about an hour. I thought this was odd, it would be nice to have a waiter working the holding area we would have ordered drinks. The building is in pretty rough condition. Decent service all around. Not sure the price equals the experience you get. 10/10 for the food absolutely wonderful, that’s really where they made up for the other shortfalls.

I made reservations for a larger party of 12. They took my name and number and we were set. Yes, we were 12 minutes late. After 15+ years in the food service industry, a simple phone call to see if we were still coming would have been appreciated. We for there and I was informed that they have a 10 minute hold policy and they had given our reservation away. The hostess, who was rude from the onset, called up the manager, who continued down this same path of rude behavior did not offer an apology for the miscommunication, nada! Just a “we will get a table as soon as we can. As another member of our party comes in with the bday cake we are viciously hit with “YOU CANNOT BRING IN OUTSIDE FOOD! You will have to leave it out in you car or we will put it on our refrigerator until you leave. You cannot eat it here!” Some 30-45 minutes later, they have found a table, after seating a few other large parties that did not seem to have reservations. The cook did a very good job. The server was fair at best. He lost a LOT of points after explaining that “there is a 15% mandatory gratuity that is automatically added to every check, and it’s split between the cook, busboy and server. So if you would like to tip me directly, please leave cash.” Food was subpar, and certainly so for the prices they demanded and the service we received. Thank you for putting a damper on my daughter’s birthday. I can assure you that we will not be back.

Water was dripping off the vent onto the grill when I told the host manager about it she gave me a hard time and was pretty rude. After talking to her multiple times they finally moved us all to another table. After noticing the water falling on the table I noticed how disgusting the vents are over the tables and the host made it sound like water regularly falls onto the cook top. Never coming back.

Full transparency. I went to this restaurant for a family celebration knowing I'm allergic to shellfish. We mention it to the waitress, she explained the chef would accommodate and cook my meal first. Apparently the "head chef" refused to cook my meal separately and canceled my meal with out informing anyone. *also had the soup spilled in my lap by the waitress and very very noisey* Do not recommend although, it's safe to say I left with a clean plate.

Worst experience ever. My mother was wrongfully accused on throwing soup at our waitress. Without even asking us what happened this ignorant manager came over and asked my mother did she throw the soup at the waitress and we told her no. My mother slide the soup bowl around her cup so the waitress would not have to reach over my mom’s cup. Mind the waitress was completely dry before and after she left the table. Despite not wanting to ruin the experience of a family friend she stayed but did not eat and cancelled her order.

Needless to say my family and I will longer be dinning here all because of a lousy waitress and poor management engagement. PLEASE DO NOT DINE HERE!

Save your money, eat somewhere else. Restaurant was out of ginger dressing. Ordered hibachi chicken, it was dry and we only received a scant portion compared to those that ordered teriyaki chicken (literally 7 pieces of chicken compared to heaping portions around us). A huge disappointment all around, will not be back.
