This ratchet bar charged my tab $82 dollars for drinks that me and my group DID NOT in any way purchase, they refused to try to be reasonable and hear me out, then they sent security and police to try to arrest me after over charging me for the drinks I actually did purchase. The security started to put their hands on me and repeatedly tell me “You’re going to jail” thank god WS police walked in and helped out, otherwise this would have been a disaster. This bar is absolute trash and they will never see my money or business again. Period

A bad experience is more demanding than immigration ? they did not allow me to pass because my ID was lost and I showed the old one and they did not allow me to pass.. even though I showed them that I had already ordered the new one !!!!° it had not arrived. The security guy is super bad-tempered and very rude, as if he were going to pay us to enter, this is the only place they don't let you enter for that reason, since in all of them they only check that you are not a minor and have an ID, so If your ID is expired, don't try because they won't let you in ?? so I wouldn't come back ?

I visited Bar La Ch.ngada in downtown Winston-Salem during restaurant week (10/23/23-10/29/2023), and I must say, their drink called "4 the Girls" was delicious. Made with 100% grapefruit juice, strawberries, organic agave nectar, Casamigos Mezcal and topped with Riesling, this drink was the perfect blend of sweet and tart. The bar manager, Ricky, was extremely welcoming and friendly, which added to the great atmosphere. The bar was clean and modern, and it's in a convenient spot where you can grab a bite to eat after enjoying a few drinks. I highly recommend checking out La Ch.ngada for a great night out!

I love the bar. However, the bouncer that they have currently hired is very rude. My husband and I walked in with some friends after dinner to get a drink and the little man in a bullet proof vest was very rude to us and we ended up leaving. It's like the bouncer just wanted to fight with us.
I love this place it’s my favorite bar , but $10-20 bucks to get IN is a joke ! what is this a frat house ? me and my friend really like this bar but if they charge us to go in we turn around and go to bar piña or somewhere

Not a big fan of this spot, but we wanted to go dancing. It seems like Winston doesn't have much to offer for nightlife. I've been before and now again not impressed w this place. The bartender poured me a glass of rose in a champagne glass... so go figure. Dance floor is not big, there were two DJs and music was alright.

Tried getting in on a Saturday night but apparently black sandals aren't allowed in. The so called security at the door didn't want to give a excuse either. They wanted to be rude and bring ppl in around us instead. They definitely let in a certain "look" For their patrons. . Find somewhere else. Don't recommend

I arrived here around 11:25pm on a Saturday night with a co worker after leaving the bar next door. There was a $10 charge to get in.When I walked in, I was HOT! Omg. It had felt good outside lol. Around 11:37pm, my co worker got us a shot of tequila which was $15 before tax. I will add that this was bar #4 in less than 2 hours lol. This is a Hispanic bar, by the name obviously, and they mostly played Spanish music.However, I will say that I was lit by this point lol. For me, once I got some liquid courage, I had danced and had a good time! I ended idk buying us another round of shots later on in the evening.Overall, it was a good time!
