Been here a few times I think I have already given a 5 star rating before ? but here we go again. Consistently happy with service, portion size, nicely seasoned best prices in town this is my go to Japanese spot in Winston now for the quality and quantity of the food . What I get here for $12 it would cost $17 somewhere else with smaller portions and less tasty food can’t beat it.

The food is very well-priced, fresh and delicious! The steak was juicy and cooked perfectly, and the teriyaki chicken made with solid cuts of breast. You can tell they use good quality meat here, its evident when you compare it to other hibachi restaurants. The owners are very nice too, and keep a noticeably clean establishment.

I must say the customer service is good. Everyone is very friendly. I was disappointed in the quality of the food. The wings were very small and no sauce was provided. They were dry and unflavored. The hibachi was just ok and i had to add garlic and pepper to it to give it some oomph. Perhaps it needs more time and more honest customer feedback to improve. It's easy to access, quick in and out and very low key.

This small spot opened a short while ago, and the interior is clean and bright, with a good amount of seating. There is no table service, so place your order at the register. I ordered Hibachi Shrimp with mixed vegetables and Fried Rice. The order was out quickly and there was quite a bit of food, though the vast majority was made up of the mixed veggies and the fried rice. While the shrimp were tasty, they were small and there were few of them. The veggies were not especially fresh tasting and lacked any crunch. There was a separate area of sliced carrots and these were very mushy with no flavor. This is a family operation and the folks are very pleasant and efficient, and I wanted this to be a nice meal, but this was not the case. The food is average at best, and I can't see a return visit! There had been some strange review activity here, hate that! Ambiance - 3 Food - 2 Service - 4.5 Value - 2.5
