GET YOUR EYES CHECKED. i didn’t and was expecting some BBL chicken. turns out it’s BLL. but if you get the rotisserie, expect the most juiciest(BBL fs) , delicious bird you’ve ever had.

First time there. Then we absolutely loved it. She add the bank lasagna, and I have the classic cheese steak. We get there at about 830 and they closed at 9 but they took care of us like we were the first customers of today. Next time in Winston- Salem we will definitely be back.

Ugh. I hate to have to give this review as we have eaten here for years. The last 2 times we have eaten at BLL, the latest being tonight, there has been someone at our table that doesn’t receive their food. The first time, it was burnt and they had to remake (inconvenient but things happen) fine, but they ate after everyone else and they didn’t even remove it from the bill. Tonight, they didn’t see the order and offered to make it after the rest of our party was served and eating. Actually asked if we just wanted it put into a to go box. Frustrating. We declined and just shared our food. The correct way to do good business would have been to still give us our order as well as remove it from the bill. Vibes were weird. Waitress actually asked if we were enjoying our invisible Stromboli. 🫣 obviously something has changed here. I hate it, thats just not how you treat folks. Period. You make it right.

If I was going to open a restaurant in Winston-Salem, I would hire my staff and take them for lunch at BLL and ask to sit in Sean's section. I would ask our servers to watch how a server serious about taking the very best care of his guests performs his craft. Best service in the triad, full stop. And the food is wonderful. The lobster ravioli is awesome and the rotisserie chicken falls off the bone and is perfectly seasoned. Can't say enough about this classic restaurant.
