The pink lemonade is to die for. And the sugar cake I could eat in one sitting or day if I didn't watch myself. The other cakes are good as are the cookies and ice cream it's hard here. Been going there 47 years and it's a treat every time!!!
Super friendly service, everyone at the store just smiled and seemed genuinely happy. They were giving away cake for free, so I got an eclair and a pink lemonade cake. Both were good, traditional and a tad on the sweeter side. The bakery has all sorts of souvenirs for every occasion. Very cute, corky, outdoor seating, and drinks available.
My UBER driver told me don’t miss this bakery in Winston Salem ! We stopped at one of their locations and took home a whole bagful of delights - cupcakes, brownies, tarts and of course their famous Moravian sugar cake. Worth finding them :)
