We had a 7:30 diner reservation and my wife and I were celebrating a birthday. We arrived at 7:30 to the hostess area where two ladies were waiting to be seated. The restaurant was empty for a Saturday night. We waited along with the other couple for a few minutes and still no one acknowledged our presents. The couple said they had been waiting for about 5 minutes and no one was present to seat them. I walked over to the bar and asked if there was anyone available to seat us. The bar tender had to go in the back to get the hostess. The service was Ok but not great for so called fine dining. I ordered the Cowboy cut Ribeye. I was expecting an extremely great quality cut of meat. I was sadly disappointed. This was not impressive for the amount it cost. The steak was cook to medium rare as ordered. I was just disappointed with the size and thickness of the steak. I do not recommend Butcher and Bull, and will not visit again. For the record I never give reviews. I do not complain about restaurants or service, and I don not write reviews. This is my first. Take it for what its worth.......
We stayed out the Marriott this weekend, and the Butcher and Bull was a convenient supper option after a long day. We had such a great experience that we went back the next night. From everything we got the Mac and cheese gets the prize, but he arugula salad was also amazing! (How can you be excited about a salad?) This one comes with sliced strawberries, slivered almonds, goat cheese crumbles, and candied bacon—topped with a jalapeño vinaigrette dressing. Wow. Chef Ro actually came to our table and let me sample other lettuce varieties. The next night I tried the same salad with blackened salmon and mixed greens. Almost as pretty as arugula—without the “bite.”
Went for a birthday dinner where they rented the room out. 8 out of my 10 of our people thought our food was very mid. I wouldn't personally return for food but I would sit at the bar for a cocktail
Popped in for a Li'l Something. Had a very good Tito's call Dirty Martini. I told Bartender Jay (I think),that it was perfect. I normally ask for 3 olives but did not this time but it was provided. I was impressed by that. They were also fresh. Ordered the Shiitake Tacos, Sea Salt Steak Fries , and the Sauteed Spinach. The menu states shareable, (I assumed for two), it wasn't so IMHO for the spinach, and as a negative caveat; it was salty and was returned. I do not know how it was prepared but in my mind from the taste of it, I imagined it was sauteed in some type of light oil and jarred minced garlic with a bit of Soy, salt, and a hint of fish sauce that left it far too heavy in sodium. I found the Tacos to be not much of a prize. They present in a blah, on a blah plating. The mushrooms have a nice chew if you need the meat reminder, but the slaw with them is too sweet in my opinion for the savory ratio of shroom and the taco itself seems larger than needed for the contents. I felt as if I could make it into a dumpling or crispy pillow. The Steak Fries were ample and very good, although after a bit the salt becomes a bit heavy. The ketchup with them is a bit sweet, and you should order an extra one. For $14.00 a mid quality Truffle oil should be offered and an aioli of some sort should be available. The two bar staff were great! Also, there was a mgmt type fellow in a jacket sweeping the floors and communicating with staff. That was stellar. I normally get steak here like I did when it was WS Prime. I'll go back for steak next time.
As a food critic in and outside of the US, I must say that I was very disappointed in the Mother's Day buffet at this restaurant. The food was either cold or dried out. Best thing I had was the omelet made to order. Grossly overpriced! There should be an experienced food staff for an upscale restaurant that you expect to be 5 stars. Staff was nice and accommodating.
Visited here for Mother’s Day 5/11/25 for the first time my wife and I loved it . Chef Ro and staff were amazing great food and customer service will definitely be back . The Salmon with Mac and cheese were like something mom would make.
I had the arugula salad with fllet. Cooked perfectly. Drinks were excellent
Ben, from the omelette station made an amazing omelette, and is very personable The waitress by the hostess stand we can't remember her name, but she was fabulous and took care of our 91-year-old mother wonderfully we love coming to your restaurant for holidays
I don't think this was there normal set up (menu) It was Mother's Day and they did a large buffet. Food was great, large selection of sides , some brunch items , and meats and deserts were very tasty.
Service was amazing. But they changed the menu and the food was not what is used to be at all. Will not be back.

The food was not well maintained. The Mac n cheese and chicken were dry. The waffles cold. The ham was dry. It was not worth $75 per person and the dessert selection was a cookie bar. A complete waste of money.
I had a wonderful dinner at Butcher and Bull! The food was delicious and Jess was an excellent waitress.
Stay at the hotel frequently and have dined at the Butcher & Bull a few times. Antoinette always takes great care of me and my guests.
I go out to eat a lot. And when I tell you this was a complete disappointment. Had to wait forever to order drinks, wait staff took so long we gave up on even ordering additional drinks. The food was a complete disappointment half of it came out completely cold, when we even inquired if certain things should be cold- we were told yes only for them to bring out new plates with the item being hot as we expected it should be. Incorrect food items were brought to our table, the graciously allowed us to keep it *rolls eyes* the wings were hard I felt like I was literally eating raw meat. For the money that I paid I definitely expected more!! At the end of the night had to wait forever for someone to bring the bill and even after the bill was brought had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to pick the payment back up... there were so many things that were wrong, save yourself the energy and go elsewhere.
Jess was the best waitress !!! So attentive and kind
