By far the best local restaurant in Winston. The chicken n’ dumplings on Monday are by far the best in the state. The owner is super sweet and friendly also. Stop by give them a try you won’t regret it.

I got the boiled shrimp platter. The shrimp was very good but the star of the show were the homemade sides.I got the broccoli cheese casserole and the cucumber salad. Both were awesome and the homemade blueberry bread pudding with homemade custard was divine.

The food was ok. But it's pretty hard to mess up eggs, bacon and French toast. Pretty standard, definitely a better atmosphere and service than chain restaurants.

Ordered what used to be the best salad in town, The 4-Star salad. They changed the chicken marinade and the house dressing. Very disappointed- researched and found out they were bought by Cagney’s. Now it makes sense. Too bad.

The ONLY reason this isn't a 5 Stars is because the food was luke warm. Like it sat under the warmer for a while even though it came out rather quickly. And it was all 3 plates. Besides that the food was delicious. Some of the best breakfast I've had out in a while. If only the food was hot.
