Old Salisbury Rd Location review:
I do recommend this place for breakfast, can't say the same for lunch. At 13:40 on 04/13/2024 I took my parents and myself to lunch. Precious was our server, she was prompt on greeting us, getting our beverages, giving us silverware and extra napkins. Waited a few minutes, she came back and took our order. Things go down hill from there. The food got delivered to our table by a different server and that server got us the condiments we needed. After that, we had no visits from anyone working there. My glass was empty for 8 minutes prior to me finishing my meal, and a total of 16 minutes from my glass being empty and us finishing our meal. The manager had walked past our table multiple times (we were next to the register) and he never checked on us or told Precious to check on us. So now I'm ready to pay, we have not seen Precious the whole time we've been eating therefore I have no check. I had to go to the register at 14:19 to get the check and pay for it. I asked the gentleman at the register if the manager was available, he went into the kitchen area and came back out saying the manager was nowhere to be found. The servers here know I tip very well due to me having respect for the hospitality field (I used to work in hospitality) usually 30-50% tip depending on the service (Precious did not receive this). Karen (sp?) and Sharron have been amazing when we visit there for breakfast.

Shame on you google.Flounder was good, as were the collard greens.Fries and chips seem to be fried in the same oil as the fish. Why?Greek salad quite good, makes me want to go back to try more of the greek stuff on the menu.The Kansas City Steak that’s “making them famous” might want to read “infamous”.Cooked on a flattop, if they used salt it was done so from a distance.After a bunch of salt it was fine, not good and certainly not great.Mac n Cheese was ok, as was the fried squash. Both needed seasoning.Hot ham and swiss was “mid” per kid.Ditto on the tenders

Sausages were burnt. I ate one, and then asked that they be taken off the bill. They refused, and then accused me of not paying. I definitely suggest any of the other locations.

As a person that loves the restaurant, I am very disappointed with what I received. I ordered a farmers omelet with a side of smoked sausage and toast. Upon receiving my meal, I discovered that the omelet was drenched in sausage gravy with no smoked sausage. Once I realized this, my significant other and I call the restaurant and spoke to the manager. I explained my concerns on my order and was told that the order was correct and that they never serve their food that way. I continued to explain to him what I ordered and told him that I can understand where the miscommunication was at but when he read the order back to us there was no mention of sausage gravy at all. In response, the manger goes to say that the smoked sausage would’ve been an additional charge (which was completely fine) and that the omelet being completely drenched is our fault and that he wouldn’t be able to fix it. The fact that he chose to blame my significant other and I instead of suggesting a resolution is disappointing. I knew that I should’ve ordered from a different location because of his tone of voice on the phone while placing the order. Customer service on the managers side is very poor and I will not be eating there anymore.

I love the veggie quesadillas. They are tasty. Each location fixes them slightly differently. Nonetheless, they are still delicious.
