Good coffee, the espresso beans they use had good flavor but maybe could improve on technique in making the texture with frothing. Baked goods are decent, could improve on consistency and uniformity of taste and appearance.

This is a great place to stop for a coffee if you're near downtown. This is probably my favorite of all their locations. It's a great place to knock out some work and/or study.

I give it a 2 for fluorescent light atmosphere & lack of ceramic cups but a higher rating for

Had to be hands down the best fresh fruit danish I’ve ever had. I arrived shortly after it opened, ate the danish shortly after and was determined to go back and get more to take home once the event I was attending was over. However, unfortunately, by around 1 when I went back they were gone! Understandably sold out. I got ahold of my devastation and enjoyed the cinnamon bun I got there. This will be my first stop next time I’m in town.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good coffee with great bread and treats. Frequently pick up an assortment of treats for any important work meeting for out of town guests.

The last time I was here prior to today was in 2020 when it was curbside and I remember it being very good. Today was my first time being inside. The parking lot is just a tad too small for how popular they are on a Saturday morning but I was able to park on the street. The ordering area again is probably fine when they aren't busy but they are really busy right now so it felt extremely cramped. I ordered a peppermint latte with whole milk, a fruit danish, and a gluten free blonde as a gift to someone. I was handed the danish immediately but the latte I had to wait about 10-12 minutes for. When I received my drink. I couldn't find any open seating inside so I sat outside it's a little chilly. The danish was delicious and was blueberry heavy which was fine with me. Everyone who worked here is nice. The latte.. as I was typing this I spectacularly spilled my latte everywhere and they were so sweet cleaning it up for me outside and getting me a new drink. Despite having to wait for like ten minutes for my drink I'm going to give five stars because they could've just let me clean up my latte myself and not given me a new one. Next time I'm in town I will definitely be back but probably at A less busy time

Ok the good. Food is great, tea and service great. There is a automatic 6% up charge for back of house that questions why not paying appropriately....

Very fun chill place. Options to dine in. Food was amazing. Not normally a tea person, but went on a wild whim and ordered a holiday tea and was very pleased with it. Had local art prints for sale, nice local business. Would go regularly if I lived here.

Went with a buddy to try Camino Bakery for the first time. Great, friendly service. We both had lattes. I had the maple pecan scone and he had the pumpkin pie cruffin. Everything was excellent.I decided to get a to-go order and grabbed a chia picked scone and a salted caramel mousse cup for my wife as a gluten free option for her. I also snagged a San Francisco Sour Dough loaf for me and the kids. These were a hit when I got home.Great all around experience. Nice environment, fresh baked goods, and great staff. We'll be back!Vegetarian options: Appeared to have quite a few vegan friendly options.Dietary restrictions: I had to pick up some gluten free options for my wife who is gluten intolerant. She said the chai spiced scone was very good.

A quaint spot on the corner of a street. The feel is in-and-out of getting your order quick and either having it on the go or enjoy it in the seating area in the back or outside. My latte was delicious and I like the seasonal menu. My pastry was a bit on the dryer side but overall I like offerings without trying to go to their downtown location.

My daughter has found her favorite place to get the perfect Chai latte with brown sugar and a blueberry muffin made with lots of love. So so good!

The round challah we ordered for Rosh Hashanah was beautiful! Camino bakery always delivers, thank you again!

Used to LOVE this Camino location. It was my weekly treat for the longest time... been coming since 2016, almost 6 years! Sadly it has gone downhill, particularly this past year.To be clear the bread is good (cheers to the hard working bakers). The biggest disappointment is with the front end staff. In the past, w their long time employees, you walked into a warm & welcoming atmosphere. But now the employees working the front are extremely rude and impatient. Like they literally have better things to be doing, but instead they're stuck there taking your order. The attitude is like one huge eye roll at everyone entering the bldg. It sucks, I miss the old crew!To be clear this isn't a case of someone simply having a bad day. I write bad reviews 1% of the time, I'm a positive review person almost always. But this is a long term pattern.***There are so many other AWESOME coffee & bakery shops knocking it out of the park in Winston-Salem: SaySo has a great staff & superb coffee/espresso, Krankie's is still an old stand by, Bobby Boy has reeeally good quality baked goods, Bitty & Beau's Coffee, and Louie & Honey's is also aaamazing probably the best in W-S at this point for baked goods imo. This morning was the final straw. 3/30/22. The young woman taking our order was super rude. Un-ignorably so. When we walked in, no one else was there. We assumed that was a good thing. We said 'hello!' and the response we received in return literally caused me to flashback to when my daughter was 13 and I told her to clean her room before she could go out with her friends ;)I glanced at my husband in the middle of my interaction with the employee to gauge if he was picking up on it and he nodded and shrugged. We agreed it's the last time we'll ever enter this location. I'm super sad. But at this point it's like an abusive relationship.I hope management can step in and address the negative atmosphere thriving at the Brookstown location. I hate to see all the years of effort on the part of former employees go to waste :(
