If you haven't been here, missing out. 5 star service by Reid and 5 star working lunch. I had an iced matcha latte and an amazing deli sandwich for cheap! Makes for a good way to mix it up.

Canteen, now "Canteen, Still Life" has gone casual but still has delicious cuisine and take-out meals from The Porch. Simply walk up, make your food and our beverage choices and either eat in or take it to go. The staff is friendly and the vibe still cool. Highly recommend taking the time to explore or ReDiscover this downtown gem.

I love this place! My mom and I have come here twice to work ever since they rebranded as a coworking space, and it has such a relaxing atmosphere. Their lattes are great, their food is tasty, and their staff is so nice! Their wifi is also strong, which makes it a great place to work if you're looking for a break from working in your house.

1.7 stars. The $14 burger was not worth $5. But the appitizer: Crispy Yum Yum Salmon Skewers ($10) with Sriracha mayo and sweet soy sauce was superb!!

We came here earlier in the day with the Taste of Carolina Food Tour and absolutely loved the food and staff, so we excitedly returned for dinner. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience as before. We ordered the salmon skewers which where more oily than before and the beef tartar baguette was like a small, flat schmear of a little tartar and some Cole's mustard, which was disappointing. We finished with their burger and salt and malt fries which came with no vinegar. Really, we were excited to come here after our earlier experience, but now, we probably won't come back...which is sad because we love independently owned restaurants.
