I planned an event at this venue and had a horrible experience! The staff person who assisted in planning the event was extremely rude to me when I voiced a concern about the venue running out of food for my guests. When we initially planned the event I told her the number of guests that I expected to attend and we decided on a menu together based on that number. The guests RSVP in advance for the event so I gave her a final number prior to the event to ensure that she had enough food for our guests. When I spoke to the owner to voice my concern her response was that my guests must have eaten too much food. I could not believe that she responded in such an unprofessional manner. Any professional business that provides food should know how to calculate the adequate amount of food based on the number of guests in attendance. It's something that one could simply Google. This was a mistake on the part of the business and instead of taking accountability they decided to blame their customer. The service was extremely unprofessional and I was very disappointed. I will never support this venue again and I will be sure to spread the word to others. This is no way to treat your customers!

The North Carolina Black Repertory Company (NCBRC) enjoys a rich history of advancing Black theatre on a local, national, and international level and now offers this special wine, made in the Yadkin Valley, North Carolina. We invite you to experience this inaugural line of wines produced & bottled by Carolina's Vineyards & Hops. This Commemorative Edition celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the NCBRC and the 30th Anniversary of the National Black Theatre Festival (NBTF). Their hours of operation are from Saturday 4 PM-12 AM, Sunday 2-7 PM Monday Closed Tuesday Closed Wednesday 4-10 PM Thursday 4-10 PM Friday 4 PM-12 AM The first wine I tried was a dry red blend consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec it was a wonderful combination of the three wines. Easy on the palette very drinkable. Full-bodied blend. The second wine was a white blend with sauvignon blanc and pinot grigio. It was crisp and refreshing and great for the hot days we have been having lately. Last but not least there Lightly sparkling white wine blended with notes reminiscent of pineapple and peach. You can drink it by itself, or make a Mimosa with it. I had such a great experience learning about the wine and the business. They are still open for events that you can book via their website!

I am VERY pleased with this place every time I go. The food is always consistent. However, I have noticed the service changes sometimes depending on who you get. One night it wasn't busy last week and no one checked on us over 30 minutes, we could have 1- bought more drinks or 2- left without paying because the lady didn't know we didn't check out by the Time someone else checked on us and apologized. The chef lady gave us water because she saw we were waiting for our server to come back. She even asked us how we were enjoying our food and told us how the owner started!! I love the meat plates and cheese - the selections are great. I used to get the beer on tap but I found a white wine I like since the beer selection is not many to choose, overall great ambience. On Saturday you have to get there by 7 to have a comfortable seat for jazz at 8:30

My husband and I truly enjoyed this place. It wasn't busy which I believe made it so much nicer. Ms. Phyllis was knowledgeable about all of the wines and food. We were able to make great choices with her advice. Chef Victoria brought us our charcutierie board and cheese board. She explained what everything was and the best way to enjoy it. I will say the Smoky Mountain Round on a crostini with the jam is heaven in your mouth. We also enjoyed their Two Triangles wine which was sweet but not too sweet. We even bought a bottle to bring home. The mustard they serve with the meat is flavorful. It is stone ground Dijon on steroids. The flavor melds perfectly with the meats we selected. The staff, the atmosphere and the food were excellent. We will be returning soon and have already told many of our friends about this exciting place. They also have jazz music on Saturday nights but we were too early. We look forward to returning.

My office hosted an event here a couple of weeks ago and the service we received was fantastic. The planning process with Kelly was effortless on my part. After a couple of quick phone calls and emails, she was able to nail down our needs, plan the menu, and provide us with a reasonable quote. The day of the event everything was set up for us and looked amazing. The wait staff was Stephanie and Collin that night. They were friendly and extremely accommodating. Lori prepared the food and it was all delicious! We received several compliments from the attendees about the venue and food. I would definitely recommend this venue for catering or an event!

Came here on a date with my partner and had an absolutely splendid time. Our waiter Stephanie greeted me by name when I arrived as I had called in a reservation an hour earlier which was very kind of her to remember. The wine tasting was wonderful and we chose to drink the sangria which was absolutely delicious and some of the best I have ever tasted. The food was also exquisite: we had multiple dishes including the spinach dip the cheeseboard, all of it was superb. The service and food were both excellent and the outdoor seating was great. A new favorite of ours!

We visited Carolina's Vineyards & Hops for my partners birthday and they were wonderful. I've never done a wine tasting before and the staff was extremely nice and helpful; plus it was so much fun! The house Sangria is AMAZING!!! We let the chef pick our samples for the meats and cheeses and we were not disappointed, everything was wonderful and artfully put together. Def worth your time to check it out, and try the fig jam!
