As I prep to move to LA I have to give my favorite spot a shoutout. I came here when I was first touring UNCSA 3 years ago and it’s easy to say I’ve been coming back semi-regularly ever since. All of the workers are so kind and Chad is a great business owner who has a real passion you don’t see everywhere. The pastries are simply to die for, my favorite being the mochi donuts. As I look back at my time in Winston-Salem I’ll always remember Chad’s Chai as my favorite...
Tried the vanilla chai today and it did not disappoint! Some of the most authentic chai I’ve tasted at a coffee shop that did not have an artificial flavor. Friendly service too. Will be back!
I meet here often for client meetings or just to drop by for a warm bev or pick me up. This is the cutest relaxing and welcoming place. I love how they change the menu seasonally so that you can try different drink options.
