I was recommended this place to take my family, drove 30 minutes from their house to get there, called ahead and hostess placed us on list due to having 7 in our party, upon arrival we checked in with the child running the check in she advised our table was in back and another large party was at i and as soon as they finished the tables would be cleared and we would be seated. We waited in the crowded small waiting area while other customers poured in. The party at our table left and the hostes did not seat us, she instead moved the 2 tables in back apart and seated smaller parties at them. when questioned she stated we need to seat those as they are 2 sets of customers??? What kind of logic is that?
There was also a larg group seated in 3 tables put together and she said we will put you there, aggravated but we agreed to wait again. After an agonizing 40 minutes in the tiny waiting area the party left the table, as they were leaving they cleaned the table and as they were cleaning it a large party walked in and she sat them immediately at the table. Again the child in charge of this was asked why she did that and for a manager, she stated she didnt see us on list, and refused to get an adult in charge to speak with This is why 16 year olds should not be left at a place of business unsupervised. Will never return and reccomend you don/t as well unless you eat before you go.

Would give less than 1 star if YELP would allow.

This restaurant has such a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The wait staff was incredibly attentive, and helpful with food suggestions. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The prices were more than fair, especially for the quality. I will definitely be a returning customer as this is my new favorite sushi restaurant! 10/10 would recommend!

We love Chopstix! The hibachi is always delicious and fresh. The service is really good and they have great sushi. We drive over from Clemmons to enjoy it from time to time when the craving pops up. Nice people and a nice atmosphere.

Had lunch with my stock advisor here on a nasty, rainy Tuesday. Although we were practically the only ones there, Food was really good and fresh. The staff was attentive and pleasant.

Our waitress was superb. Very fresh veggies. Scallops were cooked perfectly but pricey for what little you get but overall delicious and good. Very busy tonight & staff looked full. We love the combo meal options. Very delicious we’ll be back 😜

Used to be pretty decent. Past few years it seems that onions have slowly slowly replaced more and more of the meat in most dishes and tonight I ordered a Gumtree Roll and a California Roll for take out. Both came packed in the same tray so the California Roll was hot because it sat next to a fried roll. Now I know that fried rolls are not true sushi and I understand that costs are rising and all businesses are looking for ways to cut costs but that was pretty nasty tonight. When I called back the young lady said to just make sure to tell them to put them in separate containers next time. So I have my California Roll in the freezer now to cool it down to an appetizing temperature, which I don't even know if a good idea from a food safety standpoint but I don't think it would be be worth the gas or time to go back up there even if they offered to replace it. If you need to raise your prices, please do, but stop cutting corners. Many don't care because there are few choices in our area but some of us care about quality. Would love to see Chopstix back to what it used to be.

I'm from ny and this is my 2nd time coming here. I haven't had much luck with sushi in nc so I had the cooked rolls. Both times it didn't disappoint. I must say, The calamari was cooked too perfection. Not chewy and very crispy, not overcooked. Perfect.

I ordered the steak teriyaki plate with udon noodles, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, and a side order of clear onion soup. The clear onion soup has way too much salt in it, almost to the point that it was inedible. The udon noodles are very sticky and it has no flavor. The only thing moderately decent about the meal was the steak. The meal was fairly disappointing compared to others who I've heard rave about how great the food is.

Overall, I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. For most items to cost $15 or more—plus tip—you’d expect a much higher level of quality. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

We arrived within the first hour of opening, and the tea was already spoiled. This means it likely sat overnight, and they didn’t clean the liner before making a fresh batch. That alone raises concerns about how clean the rest of the kitchen is.

I ordered the Steak & Shrimp Hibachi with Miso Soup for $18, and the quality was shockingly low. The shrimp were tiny—no bigger than a dime—and the steak was maybe 2 oz in total. The portions were disappointing to say the least.

For fried rice, which turned out to be anything but. It looked and tasted like old white rice, warmed over, with no flavor, sauce, or sear—nothing about it resembled actual fried rice. As for the vegetables, the carrots were unmistakably canned—perfectly round, overly sweet, and soft. That’s just unacceptable for an $18 dish.

The miso soup was overly salty and oddly cloudy, suggesting they added water to a concentrate rather than fresh miso paste without balancing it properly. The hibachi sauce? Straight from a bottle—not fresh, not made in-house.

To be clear, our server was kind and the atmosphere was fine—this review is entirely about the kitchen’s lack of care and quality control. With no lunch specials and prices this high, I expected much better. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, but I won’t be returning.
