Cities Grill & Bar

We loved eating there. The food was great. We had our Birthday and Christmas parties there. Service was great. What happened? I have a $100.00 gift card to use; just because we said it was our favorite restaurant.

We were seated in the bar where I was surprised to find a very pleasant situation. It was quiet (at nine PM on the outskirts of Winston Salem, one might expect that). We were seated in a comfortable booth where several TVs allowed us to follow basketball games. Our service by the bartender was fairly good, as was the food.

My family and I were extremely upset to find out that Cities was closed permanently. We have been going there for many, many years. It was our "go to" place to eat whenever we had guests come into town or just wanted a great meal at the end of a hard week. It's unfortunate that Winston has lost such a great dining experience.

So sad to see this place close. For 19 years, this was a great restaurant to come to. Cities Grill had a very unique atmosphere that no other restaurant had. Thank you!

Love this restaurant and eat here often. Portions are plentiful and the food is always good. Lots of choices on the menu. Their pork chops are awesome and their key lime pie is a good way to finish off a tasty meal. You can't go wrong with Cities!

Great place. Food was fantastic. We had a large group for a family Christmas gathering. They gave us a private area. Room for adults and children. We will be going back next year.

I am very impressed with this place. Their lunch pixzas are excellent. My friends and I go here every Thursday and all our meals are delicious. The manager seats us remembers us and is very kind to us.

It was delicious! My first time going there. The waitress was extremely nice and on top of things, we had a party of 11. The only negative thing is the kitchen was a little rigid, I asked for no potatoes add bacon and she said the kitchen said they HAD to put the potatoes on the plate. Uh, why?😂😂

I have been maybe 4 times and each time the food has been utterly plain or severally "southernized." Service is normally good, but the food has never been very impressive. The menu options are more in line with what you can make at home and are nothing extraordinary. This is completely my own opinion there are still good reasons to visit and partake in.

Nice restaurant food was good the spinach dip however was not so good too much cheese and not enough flavor. The waiter didn't inform us the top was included and took my money anyways and then tried to only give me $5 of the $20 tip left. Please advise customer the gratuity is included to avoid confusion.

I took my Mom on Mother's. It has nice decor. That day the food was not good. My appetizer was over cooked. It was the Spanikopita. My main entree was drowned in cheese too much for my taste. And the rolls were very hard. I ate there before and it was delicious. I'm not sure if it was a one time thing or they have changed Chefs. I may try it one more time.
