Newport News store. Wife and I are out on a date night and go to the drive thru for milkshakes. Listening to the voice a guy is taking my order and after mentioning the first item he stops and says is that all. Basically I’m interrupted then a lady takes over so I start the order from scratch and she to interrupts me before I can even finish mentioning the first item so again I start the ordering from scratch and I ask her to let me finish speaking and wouldn’t let me. I did make it known by changing the tone of my voice that I was not happy with her interrupting me. Also they must have done something with their headsets while I was at the order screen because a loud noise came from the ordering screen and now I have pain in my left ear because the noise was too loud. As we proceeded to the window we picked up our milkshakes and paid for them. We were only given straws and no spoons for our milkshakes. Not sure if it was deliberate or if the store was out of stock on spoons but that made our date night less enjoyable since we had to use our straws as spoons on fresh frozen milkshakes. Il still go to cookout but not the Newport News location until the female employee improves her attitude towards customers.

I've just moved to the Florence Al area. and for some disgusting reason this store thinks it's funny to fly the American flag upside down. I find that offensive to our public servants and service members both active and retired. What's worse is that I contacted corporate and nothing has been done.

Went for lunch today. Not busy, 3 customers inside, 4-5 in drive through. We were ignored for several minutes before being acknowledged. Order was delivered including a white twist tie in the burger! Took it back to cashier…. Said “it will be a few minutes”. Brought burger to table.. “ here you are”! No apology, nothing!
Will not be back!

Went to the Mooresville, NC location on 150. The food I got for $7.99 plus tax is pathetic and sad! The 3 “chicken strips” were glorified chicken nuggets, seriously they were tiny. I got more bbq sauce than chicken! The size of the strips you used to get from cookout back in the day were much bugger. I got a small child’s handful of fries and a tiny cup of coleslaw that had zero flavor whatsoever. It’s like they just chop up cabbage and mix absolutely nothing into it. Used to be able to get a lot of food for $5 and I know prices are different now, but if you’re going to charge more than at least give out the same amount of food! I’ll never go back to cookout again.

Despite arriving to the walk-up order window with a vast list of orders, the employees-- particularly the on-shift manager-- succeeded in accurately documenting and fulfilling our orders. This was in the midst of typical drive-through traffic one might expect at 6pm on a weekend. To say I am impressed would be an understatement. It would be difficult enough to recall all the intricacies of an order this size, but to follow through with accuracy and graciousness deserves ample praise. I am in the process of retrieving this receipt so that I may identify and thank the manager by name, but in the interim, I hope a positive review such as this can suffice.

Horrible! When ordering at the Tifton location, the young gal working the counter taking orders was HORRIBLE!! She used the F word towards us on about 6 occasions and no other employee said a word. She’s full of total disrespect, and extremely hateful! She should terminated or required to take some hospitality training!! You young lady SUCK!!
The light skin girl with the twists was very rude. She did not put my food in a bag and she cursed at men while I was ordering my food because she couldn't hear me. She needs to be fired because she does not have any semblance of customer service. Time was 12:00 AM Wed 14, 2025
