My girlfriend and I recently visited Winston Salem for the Thanksgiving weekend. I love cats and have always wanted to visit a cat cafe. When we were researching things to do, we found Crooked Tail on TikTok and made a reservation. When we got there, the staff was super nice and helpful. We had such a great time. The cats are so very well cared for. We do have two honorable mentions- Princess (the epitome of a sassy orange cat) and Sharpie (the sweetest cuddliest black cat). I got an iced latte and it was SO delicious. One of the best iced lattes I’ve had in a while. The barista was so sweet. We will definitely visit when we are back in Winston Salem again!

I traveled out of state and I wanted to relax from the 6hr drive. This place is PERRRRRfect. It plays relaxing music. The cats cuddle next to you. You forget about your long bad work day. I wish my job was close, then I would go on my brakes.

I did not order from the cafe, but they answered my questions about the menu succinctly and clearly, and the cats were all wonderful! Especially friendly were Bindi, the female white-hued cat, and sisters Sharpie and Expo, black-hearted cats.
Wheelchair accessibility: The floor-level entrance frame was a bit difficult to get the wheels of a rollator over, but doable.

My husband and I LOVE visiting when we are in town. We have visited both locations and are never disappointed. Who wouldn’t love hanging out with a bunch of cats?? If we didn’t already have 2 I would be submitting an adoption application each visit.

Can't think of a better way to have spent an hour. The money goes to a good cause and it honestly is relaxing. The staff was super friendly and seemed invested in each cat. They had stories and tidbits of each cat's quirks. If you haven't been before, just be aware you need to set up an appointment to visit!
