I used to love the sweet potato pie and sweet potato tarts, and I used to order a few large pies for the holidays however, I think they’ve changed the ingredients or have different employees making it because it taste very different and no longer taste good and the pies have many air bubbles. I used to brag about these pies to others. Large pies used to be $10 now they’re $15. I wouldn’t mind paying the up charge if it tasted the same as it used to. I just bought one and I am disgusted at how it taste.I know dewey’s is a staple in the community but it’s so unfortunate. I can no longer stand behind these pies. Also, I think the frosting on the cake squares is too sweet.

I was very disappointed with my experience here. When I went to pick up my cake, the cashier asked if I liked it but didn’t even wait for my answer before joking, “Do you want us to remake it?” and then laughed it off. The cake was placed in a box that didn’t actually fit, left partially open and stapled together. I was then asked if I wanted tissue paper to block the gap, which of course I did. For an $80 cake I expect proper packaging that keeps it secure for transport.
While the cake itself was beautiful aside from where the box smashed the backend, the poor customer service and careless packaging ruined the overall experience. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

After recently moving here I had to try this 95 year old institution. This store is what dreams are made of. My wife’s family grew up celebrating all of life’s achievements with a sugary confection or cake from here and with any luck will continue for years to come! From the moment you open the door and smell the airborne sugar confections you know you have arrived. This place is magical in many ways. As the inventors of the renowned Moravian cookies to the cupcakes and special occasion cakes to cinnamon rolls and ice cream. The staff are all super friendly and willing to help pick out your favorite confection or special order your celebration cake. On my first visit I got a selection of cupcakes, ground house coffee and the famous Moravian cookies. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious as well is the coffee. I cant wait to try the cookies soon. I am already planning my next trip and hope to be frequenting this place often. If you find yourself in the area this is a must go to destination!

Nice place to satisfy your sweet tooth. Staff accommodating/ super friendly. Plenty of parking as it's in a huge shopping area. Cup cakes are moist and light.

Please pick a different bakery. This was my first time in the shop and I was picking up a client order. Decided the cakes looked beautiful and wanted to buy one. Got to register to pay and was $1.50 short and accidentally put money in the wrong account and was trying to fix it and the lady waiting on me was so kind and patient but a worker came up to her saying the line was long and being rude. I was already embarrassed but her behavior humiliated me. I just said put it back and walked out CRYING. This happened today at 12:30. I’ve worked in customer service and retail there was no reason for her behavior other than just being ugly. I implore you to offer hospitality or sensitivity training. First and last visit ever. Mind you I offered before she came up to move over while fixing the issue and my original cashier said no it was okay.

Love going in here. The pink lemonade cakes/cup cakes are still my favorite. They have other cute items to choose from. Like, mugs, books and pillows.. Today I tried one of the brownies. It was pretty good. Rich in chocolate flavor. Nice place to shop & eat treats. Also good customer service. Very kind and helpful

Over 50 years buying their *previously* delicious baked goods. Very disappointed driving into town over an hour for doctor's appointment to pick up treat at Dewey's for next day Next morning tried pieces of each of 2 sugar cakes but both were so stale even the microwave couldn't rejuvenate them. Wasted $20 on old, frozen?, sugar cakes. From now on going to Wilkerson's down Stratford to get my sugar cakes. Cakes not as yeasty as I would like but NOT old and stale.
