Stopped in for the first time tonight and could not be more pleased. Our server, Alan, was super helpful navigating the menu and recommending some great options. Overall atmosphere was hip and clean. We can’t wait to come back in. Thank you all for everything!

I ordered the double pork chop special tonight. It was very rare - unappealingly so. I don't need shoe leather, but rare pork is gross. Even worse is the fact that the restroom smelled like an outhouse and was utterly filthy. Hope the kitchen is kept cleaner.very turned off by the whole experience.

We met there with family to celebrate our grandson's 17 birthday. Where everyone was seated was I suppose the banquet area. My family was seated at two rows of tables in which one row was north and south and the other row east and west, but they didn't connect. Where we sat I could see the outside and every time other patrons came in, I was reminded of the 30 degree temperature outside. Also the people coming in may as well have been at my space to focus on what I was eating. After a while I noticed most in our party including our grandchildren continued to dine with their toboggans and coats on. Then after getting up to look around, I noticed on the other side the patrons being in pure comfort and even 2 dining at the fireplace area. These areas I noticed the manager (in which I asked for later) was all over with interaction. His name is Alan. My wife and I got take out because we couldn't enjoy our meal. Not wanting to put a damper on the reason we were there, I waited until after we sang the happy birthday song and then asked to speak to Alan. I told him they should have put a barrier up for us to have more privacy and the tables should have been connected. With all other things considered, the experience was awful, but the food is great. He apologized and said he wish he would've known and I told him that he would have if he would've walked to the other side. I don't discredit the food but we as patrons shouldn't have to ask for obvious comforts, but there I suppose we do.

They were sold out of most of the food the drink I ordered was way too strong the shrimp appetizer was covered in grease the calamari was soggy and the table they gave us was wiggly and kept rocking back and forth. The customer service is good but the food sucked.

Last night was our first time trying this we'll recommend restaurant. We were pretty excited. I ordered the salted Carmel Martini- but our server Thomas (who I'm hoping is new) brought me out a chocolate one. Eventually I got the correct one. Sadly the chocolate one was actually better than the one I ordered. HaHa. Our Calamari was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, our main dishes came out at the exact same time as our appetizer, bummer! That's a pretty big peeve of mine. My very handsome date got the steak & potatoes (he ordered the Filet), it was cooked to perfection, but anyone who knows a GOOD filet knows it melts in your mouth, this one not so much. It was definitely a tougher chew. Interestingly enough it's the same price for the filet as it is for the ribeye. I had the tuna & the spicy shrimp. Both were good & for the tuna being frozen & our location, I've definitely had worse, but I've also had MUCH better. I likely wouldn't order it again. We had the bread pudding for dessert & it is served cold, which caught me off guard as I've only ever had bread pudding that was warm. It was delicious though! Our water sat empty entirely too long, in fact I had to ask Thomas for refills. The table next to us was having a lot of issues with Thomas as well. The ambiance is nice, the cafe side & the bar side are like two different restaurants in one. It's very interesting. Overall- we'll give it another shot.

Hate to give three stars because I really anticipated this being a five star restaurant but it is what it is. Appearance of restaurant was nice and everyone was friendly. Had a reservation and they sat us immediately which was awesome but now to the concerns. Thomas was very friendly but failed to pay attention to details. Cocktails are slow to come out and my basic Jack and diet was mediocre, definitely on the low side of alcohol to soda ratio (unlike the drinks at Fratellis and etc). He took our appetizer order and also our entree orders at the same time (no problem with that) but unfortunately they all came out at the same time. I think it's safe to say Thomas is new or was distracted and having an off day. Make no mistake he was very friendly and apologetic so I hope this was a one off. The Calamari was delicious!!! I ordered the steak and potatoes and was given the choice of ribeye or filet (not stated on menu) and I chose filet which was a mistake. The meal was delicious and cooked as ordered but it was one of the chewiest filets I have ever had at a nice restaurant (Jeffery Adam's filet melts in your mouth, a lot of good choices in Winston for it also) which was disappointing. We had to ask for more water and I also forgot to mention my wife's cocktail was wrong initially, poor Thomas could be heard apologizing constantly to table next to us. Again I think he may be new, he really is polite. We decided to get dessert and just my luck they were out of our first choice, which happens, so we got the bread pudding. Dessert was good but didn't seem to match the description. It had cranberry pieces in it but menu stated mango, lol, but it was still good. We will definitely try it again (but NO filet) because I feel like this maybe just a one off but will definitely request to sit on the Cafe side which appears to be nicer. Ps. I have heard one of the best waitresses (Leslee) from the Liberty restaurant in Lewisville is starting here in a week. Definitely will ask for her so the service will be 5 star at the very least!!!

We used to frequent Diamondback a lot but returned tonight for the first in a while and we will not be back. The food was horrible. Chicken was dry and burnt and cold, pasta had no flavor, po boy was underwhelming and dry, ribs appeared to be covered in sweet baby rays, we asked for bread we got 4 slices- we had 5 people. Service was horrible. Waited 40 minutes for our food and it was not busy- now I know why. The waitress returned to the table maybe 2 times and that includes bringing the check- without anything to sign with. On top of all that they add 20% tip for parties of 5 or more- 3 of my 5 were children. Dont get me wrong I pay 20% regularly but when service and food are bad that is unacceptable. Unfortunately we went for my daughters birthday and left with a disappointed birthday girl. The ambiance is beautiful but thats all that it has going for it. Do yourself a favor and go to Village Tavern, Ryan's or Fratellis. At least the food will be worth the price.

Love the ambiance and the bartenders rock! Nice hidden gem that's definitely one of the best spots in Winston for a cozy night or drinks.
