I have been eating here for over 30 years, best hidden gem in
Winston-Salem!

Typical down home diner. We sat at the counter for lunch. We were both stuffed when we left and had only spent $25 including sodas, tax and tip! Hot chips were incredible and his omelette was top notch!Dietary restrictions: They offer lower carb veggies in place of potatoes if you prefer.

Imagine waffle house, but the food was worse and there weren't any waffles. Cash only , ATM has a 3.50 surcharge.

Just not good food is cheap. Ambience is not there. It's old. Dated. Smells like fabuloso and that taste gets in the food. So gross. Hidden? yes. Gem? Absolutely Nor!

Breakfast was great. Last week the hash browns were cold but this time they were great. Prices are excellent. We will definitely return.

I had a great breakfast (an omlette with chorizo. Yum!), but it's a cash-only place. They should have a new ATM by now. Very inexpensive, too!

Great hidden gem for breakfast. Service and food were great and the sanitation grade matches the quality.
We came for breakfast today and sat at the counter. First of all the patrons were all pretty friendly and some said hi. It's definitely super causal you wear yourself wherever and then they come to help you. A little awkward if you don't know that walking in; we kinda stopped by the door for a minute. Anyway our server brought over menus and got our drink order immediately and came back to check on us for our order. As we were waiting for our food we saw that the drive thru part of the diner is still active which we thought was awesome. We both got the pancake special I did mine w bacon and gravy- my husbands w country ham($1 more) and hash browns. I also got a coffee. The food was good bacon was crispy and we know I had to try his ham which was also very good a bit salty but that's to be expected. Eggs were done as asked and the pancakes were fresh off the griddle. A few things to note they are Cash Only! They do have an atm there if you forget cash. As far as prices they are super reasonable. Our breakfast was $7.50 each plus the coffee and upgrade for country ham. I think the people w more negative comments need to adjust expectations- the counters and tables were clean it's just all very old school and not updated. The kitchen itself is clean and the servers are friendly. We will be back for sure!

This is a nice little place however it's cash only but they do have an atm inside. Prices are also good as well

Absolutely love this place!!! Small family owned diner with a large menu with excellent prices and serving sizes. I’ve tried a large majority of the menu and have never been disappointed.

It's a nice little kinda hidden gem. Every time I come in the service is wonderful, the food is great, and the prices are very good. There's something for literally everyone. P.s. the pimento cheese here is sooooo good!!!

Good place for breakfast. Seemed short staffed as one person was taking care of all the tables and the counter. Food was good and served hot and the coffee kept coming. Good size portions. I had a western omelette that was very tasty.
