Don Express transports you to Japan with every bite! The staff is very friendly & service is consistently fast. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the takoyaki & rice balls are mandatory each time we go! So many authentic Japanese specialties, all made with love. Portion sizes are large, you get what you pay for here. We drive over half an hour, but would gladly drive further if we had to. So much respect for this place. Support this local family business!

I come occasionally to this place, because I have always believed that the food is one of the best in this city, but it is sad to see the terrible, unpleasant service they provided today, since we arrived it was in a derogatory tone, they took the order, and the computer did not have costume tips, to modify the tips. After sitting at the table, they brought the ramen first, before the gyoza when I told them it would be a starter, there were two ramen and when I finished my ramen, my friend's was because they brought his. They gave us water in glasses, my friend was drowning and they didn't even bring more water, I had to stop and please tell him that I needed water. I ordered taiyaki, and after finishing eating waiting for dessert they didn't even bring it to me, I had to order it to go. I have been to many restaurants but I have never seen service as lousy and horrible as this place. I don't know if they changed their workers, because it wasn't like that before, but the ones they are there now are so they don't provide any more services.

I've been to Don's three times. First time was for take out, and the second times were for dine in. All three times were for lunch. I've had their gyoza, musubi, yakisoba, and ramen. All have been very delicious! They are a but pricey, but they give a LOT of food. The time I had ramen, the meat (pork chashu) had a funky smell, so I didn't eat much of it. But the noodles, ramen egg, mushrooms, and broth were delicious and flavorful! Also, I didn't right at noon, so it was basically empty. Very chill vibes with J-Pop playing. I would definitely recommend Don Express for a nice lunch!

Food is good. Just make sure you pay attention to the total when rung up. It's more expensive by a few dollars on Uber eats, but it is 'original menu price' when you go there. It's just how Uber or Doordash makes their money; but the last two times I went, I was charged higher than the menu price displayed at the restaurant.

Most authentic Japanese food I've had in the area so far. $34 for gyoza and ramen felt pretty expensive. Maybe I'm still adapting to US prices but idk. I'll definitely come back because it was good but not often because it was too expensive for me.

My wife and I stopped by Saturday. Small restaurant but very quaint. Food was DELICIOUS and even better it was cook by the owner and BOY can she cook. This has become my all time favorite Authentic Japanese street food spot. If you haven't been, I promise you wont be disappointed!
