We ordered catering from Don Zapata's for a party at our house last night. We had 35 guest and we had plenty of food. Chicken and shrimp fajitas, all the fixings, large bowl of fresh made guacamole, many different salsas, cheese dip, an abundance of fresh chips. Eric the manager was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our food was hot and fresh. Price was very reasonable. Thank you Eric and your amazing restaurant.

Friendly hostess and big smile. My waitress was fast, kind and attentive to my needs before, during and after eating. The meal was super delicious and warm. The drinks were tasty. The atmosphere was welcoming and beautiful. It was a great spot with great service and staff. I am a temporary resident and this was an excellent spot to attend.

How did I forget to review this weekly stop!? The service is excellent, this staff is always welcoming, friendly and very efficient. Not to mention their food is wonderful, tastes fresh and not too salty. We love the street corn and my husband always gets the la piña loca. During cooler weather, try their chicken soup. Hands down our favorite in the area.

The bag was tied, that’s good and all of my order was there, then I see a hair. In the queso. As soon as I open it, so I know it’s not mine. And the queso is so grainy and awful. Usually it’s amazing. Seriously disgusting.

My order came out wrong, and the food was just ok.

We come here once a week and the food is always top tier. Great dips, entrees & dessert. Super attentive service. High quality all around.

Impromptu early dinner here and was pleasantly surprised. Blanco queso not or favorite but overall very good, fast, hot meals at reasonable price. Server not overly friendly, I'm ok with that since she was very attentive, cleared dirty dishes every time she passes and checked on us frequently. Clean restrooms and great price on a Taco Tuesday!

I have been to Winston-Salem for business several times over the last year and every time I do, I keep going back to Don Zapata's for my traditional mexican food fix. The best I have had while away from the west coast. The salsa is on point and the fresh guac is amazing. My goto dish is the Alambre. Friendly patrons at the bar and feel of authentic Mexican atmosphere is a definite plus. Service was top notch and they even knew what a Paloma was and, oh boy, do they know how to make them. Love this spot and I'll keep going back whenever in town.
