Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

This was an exceptional moment that brought us to Firebirds for lunch. A small group of ladies were celebrating our friend's 100th birthday! We selected it because it was a Monday and many places are closed. The hostess was so kind making our guest of honor a special card and our waiter was considerate and thoughtful. We were all pleased with our meals (I had a grilled shrimp dish with whipped goat cheese and corn).

We dine at Firebirds often and use OpenTable for our secured seating. This restaurant is one of our favorites, and the food is exceptional. The service is spot on and the food is amazing.

Four out of five of us ordered the three course dinner. This is a wonderful value and the food was delicious! Everyone was filled and we all had takeout. They were extremely busy but the wait time was reasonable and the service was great!

I eat at Firebird's 1-2 times a month. The food is always good, no matter what I order. It can get noisy with big parties, but we did not experience that this time. And that would be true anywhere.

My salmon and mash potatoes were perfect. My sisters shrimp and grits had hair in it. My other sister stated her shrimp and grits were bland. My mom grilled shrimp didn't have one grill mark! They were WHITE AND CLEAR LOOKING. The wing appetizer & lobster spinach queso was good. My margarita was good but 13.00 was the menu price but I was charged 13.50. The front of the house manager was nice enough to remove out appetizers. But I wish everything was prepared properly the very first go round. All the staff was pretty nice. I would like to to give you all another try one day and hopefully it'll be better !

We had a great experience at firebirds. Our waiter did a great job at making sure we were taken care of and the food was delicious!

Arrived on time for our 1:30 reservation; they didn't appear to be too busy. Bread, ranch rings, a glass of wine, and two waters were our precursor to our lunch salads. It did seem to take longer than usual for our salads to arrive but honestly I didn't have a stopwatch going. Our buffalo chicken salsa and tenderloin salad were filling and we thoroughly enjoyed them.

Overall, our meals were either really good or not so good. The people that got the steak tacos thought they were absolutely yummy. My scrambled eggs were over done and cold as were other eggs at the table. The waitress was very nice. It didn't seem like she knew the menu that well as a few of the drink items came out to us not as described in the menu.

We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and really enjoyed our dinner. My husband had the tomahawk pork chop and I had the aged ribeye. Both dishes were cooked to perfection! Our waiter was on top of things and made sure we had everything we needed. Don't think twice, go and enjoy a wonderful meal.

There were 5 of us and all 5 ordered different entrees. EVERY PLATE was phenomenal! Ribs, Prime Rib, Sirloin, Ribeye (cooked perfectly) and Salmon & Shrimp. The sides were just as impressive: cider slaw, charred carrots (out of this world), grilled street corn, loaded baked potato, BLT salads... It was a fantastic place for a special birthday and I am so glad we chose Firebirds over many other options. Our server was also top notch.

The food was AMAZING! The only negative was the wait time to get our food. Our reservation was at 730p and we didn't get our food until about 9p. But the ambiance was great, and so were the drinks. Will be back in hopes of a shorter wait time.

So glad we asked about the half-price wine which I thought had been changed to Wednesday nights. It's no longer on Monday nights. Server explained that it's still in the system. We can get half-price glasses of wine, but it probably will not be continued much longer. Too bad cause that's what brings us back to Firebirds.  the food is good, but not great.

Naomi was an amazing server! She was very attentive and had a welcoming and friendly spirit. We will be coming back because of her!

Water was super good and food was delicious. Can't bear the Strawberry Salad with Salmon. Gets a 10 out of 10.
