Came in to order some dinner and a sign was written that all of the meats for the subs were out. A long with no available meat for the sandwiches, customer service was non existent. We were never greeted when we came in and were never asked if we'd like help

The food was absolutely amazing! The bread was incredibly moist, with a delightful texture that melted in my mouth. The vegetables were fresh and vibrant, bursting with flavor, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. The theme of the restaurant is creative and immersive; they really embrace it with attention to detail. I stumbled upon this gem by accident while I was headed to Jimmy John's, but I’m so glad I did—this place is definitely worth the detour. The only downside was the customer service, which felt quite indifferent; it wasn't bad, but it certainly lacked personality and warmth.

I recently visited Firehouse Subs in Winston-Salem, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure my order was just right. The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had a great atmosphere.

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely delicious! I ordered the Hook & Ladder sub, and it was packed with fresh ingredients, perfectly toasted, and full of flavor. The meats were tender, the cheese melted just right, and the toppings were fresh and crisp. You can really taste the quality in every bite.

What sets Firehouse Subs apart is not just their amazing food but also their commitment to the community. Knowing that a portion of proceeds supports first responders makes every meal even more satisfying.

First ever order at this franchise and I'm served clearly moldy bread. Called up there and no one answers the phone during open hours. Completely disgusting and unacceptable.

Long wait, place was dirty as if not cleaned from day before at 11:30am. Sub was good. Cleanup the place, less wait time and I’ll be back.

I went and picked up food for my bf and friend that had been working outside all day, and very disappointed with how much meat was on a Large Steamer. This portion looks to be for a small or medium. After working in the cold all day and looking forward to late lunch, this did not help.

So hadn't been to Firehouse in awhile and I had a gift card burning a hole in my wallet so I dropped in to use it. Was greeted as soon as I opened door which was nice. Ordered large meatball sub and I received my order in a timely manner. Took my food home and everything was pretty good except 4 of my meatballs had hard spots in them from where they were on the bottom I assume. Taste was good overall and I am not dinging them too harshly for this but stir them meatballs! Overall good experience.

At least I can say I tried it but this business got to be kidding me! Subs are definitely not worth the money. First time in I couldn't even get what I wanted since they where out of products. Then you have a little kid behind the counter where they work being rude and sticking middle fingers up at customers. I was so ready to get out of there and will definitely stick with my subway!

I was excited to try the Thanksgiving sub since I heard from the employees that it was very popular.
I was soooooo disappointed when I got it. Literally $13 down the crapper. This clearly doesn’t not speak $13……maybe $2 at most.
Firehouse you should be ashamed to even think this was doable.

I hadn't ordered from Firehouse Subs in almost six years, but an email promotion caught my attention, so I placed an online order at the Twin Towers location. I wish I hadn't. I ordered a medium Engineer sub, expecting the quality and portions I remembered, but what I got was the complete opposite.

First, when I picked up my order, the bag felt surprisingly light. Then, halfway home, I realized the bottle of sauce I ordered wasn’t in the bag, so I had to turn back to get it. The bottle they handed me was covered in dust and oil, which made me question the hygiene standards. When I finally got home, I discovered the sub itself was squished, soggy, barely had any meat or toppings, and wasn’t even toasted as it should’ve been. I was disappointed but hungry enough to eat it anyway, which I regret now. Within 20 minutes, I developed a scratchy throat and slight nausea.

Afterward, I checked Google reviews, where I saw numerous complaints about poor cleanliness, quality, and service over the last few months. I wish I’d looked closer before going. Given that this location was practically empty when I visited, there’s really no excuse for such negligence. I’m genuinely concerned that my food wasn’t prepared safely, and I don’t want anyone else to experience this.

If you're considering Firehouse Subs, I’d strongly suggest going to a different location or a different restaurant entirely. This experience left me disappointed, worried, and hopefully not sick.

This place is really going downhill. Was excited to try the new sandwich u til I got this sloppy pathetic thing with hardly any turkey on it. Service was apathetic and unfriendly as well and no apology or remedy was offered at all when I brought this back up to the counter. Only an excuse.
