Food was horrible

My partner and I came here for lunch it was both of our first time. we had asked if our food could be made before the time the computer had generated it would start getting prepared. Because we work in EMS. it would have been fine if they said no, But instead the cook was very rude and nasty. “I don’t know why they came here before there food is ready”. Her tone was very hostile and rude. I really had high hopes for this place obviously I want to support black owned businesses. Happy Juneteenth to us.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and let me just say—it did not disappoint! I’ve been craving red snapper and had been eyeing this spot for a while, always telling myself I’d stop in one day. Well, today I finally did, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the red snapper meal with macaroni and cheese and pinto beans as my sides. When I tell you I almost bit my darn finger off… that’s how good the food was! Everything was seasoned perfectly, fresh, and full of flavor. That red snapper was divine—cooked just right and bursting with taste. I believe the young lady who helped me was named Kayla (at least that’s what my receipt), and she was absolutely lovely. She greeted me with a warm smile and was genuinely pleasant throughout my visit. The entire atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Funny enough, I joked with her and said, “I hope your food isn’t good,” because I knew if it was, I’d be coming back again and again. Well, guess what? I’m out of luck—because that food was so good! Big thanks to Kayla and the whole team. I’ll definitely be back!

Been a while sense I've been. Food still as good as expected.

Service is always SLOW! Today I placed an online order with a ready to pickup time of 1:53PM. At 2:15PM, I just received my food.

I go for the fresh seafood. I like to cook my own!

6 wings only was hot and good

Food was not that good. Ordered a scallop boat $12 (5 fried scallops) and a $5 baked potato. Potato was fine but scallops were salty and tasted like they were fried in old oil. The place smelled fishy when we walked in because of the fish market. If the fish is fresh it shouldn’t smell. Also the floor was very sticky.

Guess being from New England has spoiled me on good seafood. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

Food has no seasoning service was terrible and the atmosphere you should clean up outside the smell alone I wanted to get back in the car .. you know the food was bad if the cat walked away from the fish

Oct 19. I placed my order at 6:00 over the phone they said it would be ready at 6:26 I get there at 6:30 and food still wasn't ready I didn't receive it till 6:50. I get home and my boiled food i ordered was burnt couldn't even eat it. I wasted $28 on slow service and burnt food. Never again I try to put money back in black business but I'll think twice next time.
