This place is terrible!! Mostly the customer service.. Had me waiting in the lobby after my food was sitting there 10mins getting cold. Got home and shrimp boat was missing.. Very uppity folk here!! I'll start going to Westside of town or anywhere but here. Tried to support the community ??

Hot, fresh, and well seasoned, the portions are worth the price. I spend more than 100 dollars for a meal for my family, and it is well worth it. I just went here to pick up some fish. The guys at the counter that picked, cut, and packed them were really helpful because I had no idea what I was doing. They made some recommendations based on how I was planning to cook it and, so far I’ve only cooked the bass but it was delicious. The folks there were also super friendly (Shoutout to Darius)! Highly recommend this place
The beans and greens are really salty. My scallops and those pitiful looking oysters were not cooked thoroughly even though they were the only thing hot. Everything else was luke warm.

I was the last customer of the night for take-out. I ordered catfish and popcorn shrimp sandwiches. And one of the ladies made recommendations since I wanted some hush puppies.Despite ordering so late, both sandwiches were fresh and cooked to perfection. (My son’s sandwich ‘lost’ 6-7 shrimp between the Cafe and the YMCA ? - but he couldn’t tell).
I am SOOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!! Yesterday Jan 17, my husband decided to stop and get dinner from Forsyth Seafood. We spent about $30+. He got the Catfish, Clam Strips & Popcorn Shrimp. The Catfish was gamey and horrible and I don't know who made the slaw but it was disgusting. I always loved the slaw there and there was some kind of seasoning added that completely threw it off. I tossed it in the garbage!!! And the fish we put in the fire pit for the possums.

I’ll say that this is consistently some of the best food available in North Carolina and is hands down the best seafood in the Triad. Two things trouble me tho - the first is the transparency of your prices. Two times in a row I’ve come and ordered food where the price or quantity wasn’t displayed correctly (five scallops instead of 14 arrived) and there’s a hidden 2 dollar fee to broil something instead of frying it. The other is general cleanliness. Lots of dirty tables and sticky floors. Please clean up the dining room and clearly display your prices and quantities.
