The ladies at the front of house were nice. Waitresses were lack luster and just felt as if they were in a bad mood from the first getting. We had a reservation. We were sat quickly, everything looked clean, had a party of 7 food came out in a respectable time. Salads were fresh. Entrees varied in desireability. We had burgers, pastas, eggplant parm. No one was blown away. Had to request extra sauce for one due to it being dry. Overall 2.5 out of 5. It was our first time. I'd be willing to go back at someone else's suggestion but personally not my first pick. No one like the bread and oil. Prices honestly in comparison to other steakhouses were reasonable. I really think its definetly just a place you have to try and see for yourself. They didnt lack patrons.

I used to love Fratelli’s. It was the go-to for birthdays and anniversaries but I was super disappointed in my last visit. My bisque was cold and lacking lobster. No lumps of meat. My spanakopita was burnt. My espresso martini came in a warm short glass. It looked like a chocolate milk shot. No color seperation, no toppings. Nothing to take picture and brag on. I don’t think they had enough glasses. When I ordered a bottle of wine, the hold up was finding wine glasses. My friend’s pasta was sent back due to the shrimp not being blackened. Then when they returned the pasta, it just had more seasoning on top. She sent it back again and they remade the whole dish but the shrimp looked less done than the first time. My other friend ordered the pasta blackened but it came the same way. She kept hers. I didn’t complain because I think it was the manager that brought my birthday friend her dish the second time around. He probably knew it was suppose to be blackened and dropped it down looking underdone. I figured let’s just finish up and get some late night food somewhere else. I did have my food boxed up and tried eating it today. It’s just not good. Not very traditional spanakopita either. No tzatziki but tomato sauce. Weird. I paid 80 for a cold soup, a burnt appetizer, a hot chocolate milk shot and a bottle of wine that was delicious but I waited a tad bit too long for. That’s the cheapest my bill has ever been but also the most disappointed. My other friends steak looked very good. The salad I heard was delicious as well.

Calamari was great. Salads very delicious. Drinks were great, some of the best cocktails we've had. Sides were very delicious as well. Main dishes OK. Our table ordered one chicken entree and three different steak entrees. Chicken dish was good, steak was just OK. The spilt cowboy ribeye had nice presentation, and good flavor. Sirloin was as expected. Kansas City strip was a little tough and had more gristle than expected. Overall the quality level (grade) of the steaks shown through. Will say, kitchen did a good job making the most of what they have and cooking temps were spot one. Service was great, multiple people vlisting table to ensure we had what we needed.
My wife and I loved going here. The food and service was great. Definitely worth it.

It’s a nice upscale steakhouse. Service impeccable. I got the fried mozzarella which was good, a fratellis salad and a filet. Flavors were all great. Nitpicking but my cut of filet wasn’t the best looking cut, and the plate could have been dressed up more (I didn’t move the shrimp at all, they came on the plate like that). But otherwise good service and a nice, refined place to eat.

Waitress was inattentive and not at all personable. She wasn't rude but didn't make us feel valued. Our food took a long time to arrive. After we placed our food order, the table behind us arrived, was seated, later ordered, and then got their food about 10-15 minutes before us. There were 4 of them and 2 of us. I had a ribeye and my wife had the filet mignon. My food was just ok, not as good as the price wound lead one to believe. My wife's filet was dry and a little overcooked on the outside (hard crust). The salad is always good. My dessert for my birthday was good and appreciated. Based on our experience, we're on the fence whether one of we'll return. The quality of our experience and the price for what we paid equated to a very low value.
We had a company celebration dinner and the food was fantastic. The steaks were perfectly cooked and spiced. The pasta dishes were ample and deliciously flavored with just the right balance of sauce although their version of shrimp scampi was unlike any other - not bad, but not authentic shrimp scampi. Our server, Brandon, did a great job and was very conscientious and made sure we were taken care of. For some reason we had a second waiter and he was marginal. Never have had two wait staff at a nice restaurant. Waiter #2 was more akin to a Texas Roadhouse restaurant type wait staff. Beyond the quirkiness of the restaurant, our main complaint was for our special occasion that we were put into the bar area when we had made the reservation well in advance. The bar area had a large TV and the bar filled up most of the room with our table in the corner. We could hear bar talk and it detracted from our dining experience. This is a pricey restaurant and we spent about $100 per guest. The hostess didn't greet us when we arrived, and couldn't be bothered. She shuffled us to the back when the restaurant had just opened and the main dining room was fairly empty. She never acknowledged our presence as we were leaving. She didn't represent the restaurant very well. For these reasons we rated the overall value lower not because of the food but tacky bar area detracted from our celebration dinner, especially for the price of our meals.
An absolute must visit. Quality food at a very reasonable price. A Winston-Salem go to establishment.

Food is too salty and definitely overpriced.
Salad is probably the only thing I liked.
And you’d think for an expensive place like this the restroom would be bigger and cleaner and better designed than a $20 lunch place. No. It’s the same.

My wife and I have visited several times and the food, service and ambiance are always top notch. Excellent high end steakhouse in the city that sets a standard that rivals the big city steakhouses.

We were in town from Wilmington. This is hands down the best steak we have ever had. All the food was knock your socks off great. The service was equally as wonderful. Do yourself a favor and stop by. You wont be disappointed.

Fratellis has always been our go to place for our business dinners. Lately and including our last experience in the restaurant, their steak quality has suffered. Based on our most recent couples of experiences, we can get a steak of equal quality at a more affordable steakhouse. Still, Fratellis Salad is another favorite that holds steady. The service was great.
