10/10 ! Came over to check them out after seeing someone do a review on TikTok and I’m so glad I did. They are friendly helpful and the food is sooo good. Will be back.

The customer service here is lacking much! I had to say hello twice before anyone greeted me. It gives family owned business. There was a short menu and most of it wasn't available on the day I went. The food on the other hand was delicious. The whiting and shrimp were fried well, and the yams were sweet. I didn't have to add anything to the rice and gravy which means it was seasoned well. All-and-all I didn't regret the trip.

We ordered the fish and wings with mac and cheese and fried okra; everything was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and we had plenty to take home. We’ll definitely be returning!

Got a fried wings, mac n cheese, and yams plate. Phenomenal. Flavorful. Crispy. Prices weren’t crazy either. Close to what you’d pay for worse food at Popeyes. Quick order turnaround. Wouldn’t mind a lil more seasoning thrown on the mac. Still 10/10 plate

I had high hopes for this place but unfortunately my experience was a major letdown. I ordered the turkey wing special with collards and yams, and everything fell flat. The turkey was undercooked, underseasoned, and swimming in bland gravy.

But the biggest offense was they tried to pass off canned yams with a heavy dose of sugar and cinnamon, as if that could disguise the mushy texture and lack of flavor. Even worse, the collards were straight from the can too. For a soul food restaurant those are serious red flags.

It was 1 p.m. on a Sunday and the place was empty. At first, I thought that was odd, now I understand why. I really wanted this to be my new go to spot, but sadly the search continues.

nice little restaurant with the bestttt food. lemon cake bites were amazing. collards were bombbbb, the sweet chili sauce on the wings was great, rolls were sweet like hawaiian rolls super good, the whiting fish was amazing. no complaints about the food qualify it was all amazing. $14 for 6 wings and two sides not a bad deal to me. $11 for 6 wings side of fries and a drink. if you ever in winston or around, i’d definitely check out this place.

First visit here and the food was good. We got the Fish sandwich w/Fries, and the #2 Combo with chicken wings and 3 sides yams, macNcheese, and cabbage. Tea/Lemonade is so good!!
