I've made mention before that most of the Greek restaurants in the area are pretty mundane (Athena is sorely missed), and Grecian Corner seems to fit that same model. The meat in their gyro is plain and even a bit dry, though thankfully not to the same degree as many of their competitors. They certainly do load the bread down with plenty of peppers, tomatoes, and such, so that helps offset the boring flavor of the meat. The accompanying fries were standard variety: frozen crinkle cut taters, browned a little more than I'd prefer. There's a surprising amount of seating in what looks like a small diner from the exterior, and it seems both clean and well staffed. Shame the fare they offer isn't more memorable. It also seems a bit pricey to me, especially for mediocre food. 3.25 stars if I could go fractional with my rating.

It was ok.. nothing to write home about. Definitely not anything like the reviews that I saw here. To each their own! One and done.

Easily the best, freshest gyro I've ever had. It was overflowing with perfectly grilled meat and uniformly diced veggies, with the perfect amount of taziki sauce. It was even wrapped in paper to make it easier to handle.Combine this delicious sandwich with the amazing service and local atmosphere, and you've easily got one of the best lunch destinations in town!

Lived up to all the many positives that have already been written many times over many decades.Food and service were great. Wide variety. Delicious.Restaurant atmosphere was fine but since I was looking out over interstate 40 overpass I can't give that category a fifth star...

Service was good. Ordered a gyro and the meat was super dry and some of the pieces really dark in color. Several others ordered the same thing and they also had very dry meat. We had to add tzatziki sauce to get it down without choking.

It's just horrible that I have to stop here every time I go to Winston Salem. I'm addicted to their Gyros. I almost bought a second one to take home and eat later.
This place has been a Winston Salem staple since 1970! Great Greek salad and I enjoyed my chicken souvlaki skewers dipped in their homemade tzatziki sauce. We tried their Spanakopita, too; spinach and feta stuffed into phyllo dough (drool!!). My husband had the steak hoagie with a side of fries. These are those good, little crispy fries. We did not leave hungry and my craving for Greek food was filled. I will add, they had a 99 grade!!! And it's consistently 99-100. I wasn't mad about the plasticware or the paper plates, either. Our waitress was great, I hate I can't remember her name, but she's worked there for 11 years! That speaks!

What can I say? The food is absolutely delicious. Simple flavors that explode in your mouth. Food that just makes you crave it. The service is so good that I wanna go back every day. The dessert? Pineapple Coconut cake is moist, thick, and delicious. Please, please go.

They have good food, But when you're met with a manager who refuses to give you ex season salt, it's ridiculous. If a customer ask for extra seasoning for there fries , it shouldn't be a problem.
