This place was awesome!! I'm originally from Maryland so I'm particular about my seafood and my crab cakes. Hands down best place in the Triad. I hate to see it close.

They have an awesome deal for happy hour on shrimp and oysters. I definitely recommend stopping by here.

Cozy place for drinks! Most likely wait for a table even with reservations (has been my experience). Food and atmosphere is good.

Sad, nostalgic. I'm gonna miss it and so many of the people who worked there. I had one of the last beers. Bye bye Hutch, thanks for some very good memories

Amazing staff and food. There is a little bit of everything for everyone. It's more Cajun styled food but seafood, burgers, and other items. I really enjoy it's laid back atmosphere.

We love this place and stop by when driving past Winston Salem. Great beer selection. And the Moravian Chicken pie!!! With the gravy!!! Bring your appetite..so good! They have nice salads also. Bartenders are always friendly. We'd go often if we lived there.

It can't decide if it's a seafood place or not, nothing is super good nor bad. At night all the focus is on maintaining the bar, not the restaurant.

Not sure I would call hutch and Harris a pub - maybe on the sidebar side, but not in the dining room. great casual dining with good service, presentation and quality.

Seven of us came in for lunch and I was happily surprised by the variety of options and the reasonable prices. Amongst all seven of us, we got Greek gyros, a steak sandwich, roast beef, a falafel burger and a taco salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the portions were large! Nice place and will definitely be back next time I'm in town

I liked the special that Side Bar was running on the ever-delicious Bell's Two Hearted. That says, I was mighty disappointed when the bartender determined that he should just keep my $2 change from my $3 drink (for a grand total of 66% of the purchase price) as a tip! Oh well, always other bars around!

We love the food and drinks here. At brunch, we were given a bowl of corn bread, biscuits, and banana nut muffins. They didn't last long. My wife sheepishly asked for a little bowl of the banana nut muffins, and our waiter was nice enough to bring them for her. We recommend.

Just disappointed. I'm guessing ours was just an off-night, based on all the great reviews. But my best descriptor for tonight was just 'sad'. The decor is blah...the nachos were good. The Greek Salad was just sad. The chicken was dry and sad. The romaine was fine. The dressing was flavorless. There were NO Greek olives, no pepperoncini, and like, maybe 3 pieces of feta. Sad. Hubby had a cheesesteak thing...also not too exciting. But other folks seemed to be enjoying their dinners, so maybe we ordered wrong??? I didn't have any expectations going in, but I think it may be a while before I go back. Lots of great options downtown Winston. Gonna try some others before I do this again.

Let me start by saying - the food is not the reason for 3 stars. If the service were as good as the food, easily a 4-5 star place. My boyfriend and I just went here on Sunday morning for brunch. I'm a big fan of their food and drink selection! We enjoyed the bloody mary's with Old Bay on the rim and I later got one of the coffees with liquor, which was a little sweet, but the perfect "dessert" for my meal. As for main dishes - my boyfriend got some pork dish which was delicious, while I enjoyed the chicken & waffle + 2 eggs. The sage gravy mixed with the maple syrup was much better than I thought it sounded and I would definitely get this dish again (and the drinks)! As for the service - when we first arrived the hostess was taking a to-go order, which was fine but we weren't even acknowledged until she got off the phone. Then, once we were seated, the waiters all walked around us and even tended to people that arrived after us before anyone finally came over to take even our drink order. When we talked about our experience with some other friends, they said they've had similar experiences where service is hit or miss.

One of my favorite go-to restaurants in Downtown Winston Salem. Outside in the spring and summer are great - good food, beer and wine selection galore, and it's a great place to meet up with friends.
