They never have enough food. You call and they say "We're out of this, we're out of that". Super annoying. When they have it, its tasty.

I think the cooking standards are dropping gradually, the food I got there recently was way to oily and not seasoned well. The curry chicken is just oIL and curry powder no flavor. Definitely a different chef!

The food is good, the price is good, but it takes a while to get your food.

We had to wait 30 min to 45 min for food. Over all it a great place to eat if you want some burn your mouth food.

Best place in Winston-Salem. Great staff, great food unlike anything else Winston offers.

We came here last year when we visited from Charlotte. We loved the food. We just went today and it's nothing like we had before. The brown stew chicken was sweet but had no flavor...at all. The j*** chicken was not spicy or flavorful, especially when j*** is supposed to be fill of flavor and spice. The greens were the absolute BOMB!! And the rice was tasty. I noticed the restaurant name changed so I wonder if recipes have changed too. I hope someone reads these reviews and makes the needed changes because I won't be back, and I won't recommend it. #sadanddisappointed #notIrierythms

We got j*** chicken, curry chicken, red beans and rice, cabbage, and fried plantains. Great food! I called ahead to get a carry out order, was told it'd be 15 minutes, arrived maybe in 20 minutes, food hadn't even been started yet.

They were rude and being a new yorker I know how authentic Caribbean food tastes. It didnt taste as good. The curry was watered down. I did not like my experience there at all.

This was a great find as I was just in Winston Salem for a few hours. The Jamaican food was so yummy. I had the J*** Chicken with rice and beans, collard greens, and plantains. By far, the collard greens were my favorite! They were cooked with turkey and the flavoring was unbelievable. I dream about those greens. The plantains were fabulous! Their sweetness complimented the flavors in the J*** Chicken. The only thing I would have liked is if a server would have come to the table to take the order. We had to order at the counter, where very nice ladies helped us. There is a sign on the door that says the restaurant will be closing soon and opening under a new name. I can't imagine it being any better, but they could add a bit of spice to their ambiance. There wasn't much atmosphere, but the food made up for it. I wish them well as they reopen and get re-established.

First time to visit, small shop. Visited with family group after Graduation.Food fantastic. Ordered a to-go order, got all the way back to Cary, and found part of my order missing 😥 Was looking forward to my cake but otherwise good experience!!

This place is pretty good; but the food doesn't seem to be consistent. The first day I went for lunch, I waited so long that I didn't have time to eat. When I did get a chance to eat, the rice and peas, and the oxtails were so salty that two bites left my mouth on fire. I tore into their collards, though. They were outstanding and should win some sort of medal. I packed the oxtails up and returned the next day. They very kindly took them back and gave me a meager replacement of j*** chicken (small, dark quarter). The first couple of bites were bland, but it turned out to be fairly well seasoned, with a decent amount of heat. I want to say I spent $13 on the oxtails. Prices are pretty good.
