This place is fine but nothing really stands out. If your charging high end restaurant costs I need more though so I'd consider this place average at this price point .

For how expensive the steak was, it wasn't flavorful it was chard and tasted burnt . Vegetables, on the other hand, wow, they know what they are doing they melted in my mouth. I scared them down like it was candy lots of flavor was seasoned perfectly. The waiter was amazing and accommodating. Unfortunately, they didn't have hinz 57, which tastes better than A1. A really great steak doesn't need steak sauces. Steak needs more flavor other than that would go again to try another dish.Vegetarian options: Vegetables were amazing, and I would recommend them without thinking twice.

What an amazing experience! The wait time wasn't long and our server was very attentive without being intrusive. My girl had the chef special and I had the beef tip risotto. Food tasted exceptional and prices were reasonable! Loved to visit from out of town and will be coming back!

The food was very good. The Ahi Tuna was a little salty however the cabbage and dressing were excellent! The remember of the dinner was very good. The waitress was very attentive to us. The only thing was the noise from a crying baby during our dinner, other than that if the vibe was great!

This restaurant has a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with an enjoyable environment. Ahi tuna small plate was beautifully presented and delicious; tasty and fresh. I would highly recommend this dish. The summer pasta with shrimp was inedible. Bits of garbage vegetables tossed with soggy overcooked pasta and drowned in jarred pesto sauce. So much potential but very disappointing. The seafood risotto was full of fresh seafood but very cheese heavy. The cheese overpowered the entire dish and was the only flavor profile. It overwhelmed the seafood and pasta. I wouldn't recommend either dish.

My first time here was an experience like never before. I thought this establishment was catered to high end service. There was a table of 20 people were extremely obnoxious. I couldn’t hear the conversation of the table. The food was great but I have never been at any establishment that was as loud like we were at a sports bar. We asked the waiter to politely ask the table if they may lower their voices and nothing happened. The waiter stated that he will get his manager to talk to the table. My company and I and very disappointed that my experience here was beyond disappointing. I honestly will never recommend nor return to this establishment. If you would like great food with loud voices screaming across the restaurant then please come and joy the crowd.

Very good menu with solid choices for meat and fish. Thought the 4oz filet mignon with Two sides choices was well prepared and fine for those with smaller appetites. Fig and apple crisp with vanilla ice cream a mighty good size and flavor for sharing. Nice selection of wines, a good number for the more budget minded. Modern design with glowing tin ceilings at night. Lovely wood trim for the many windows. Conversation friendly. Makes for a really pleasant dinner out

As the parents of a Deac, Jeffrey Adams on Fourth has been a go to spot for us on our visits to Winston Salem over the years. The food is always very good and this visit was no exception. Unlike previous visits however, the wait time for our food was excessively long. Not sure if it was due to staffing issues but from time we were seated to receiving our entrées, it was over 90 minutes. Again, when the food arrived it was very good, unfortunate to have waited so long.

This was my third fillet in three nights as we tried a variety of restaurants in the downtown area. I had the steak and seafood dinner.. This fillet had a wonderful flavor, smooth texture, almost melt in your mouth. The seafood was equally as good, cooked perfectly with a great sauce. A friend had a very tasty ravioli, commenting favorably about the sauce throughout the evening. My wife had a salad with chicken, at least that is what she ordered, but it came with shrimp. They did offer to remake it. I ended up eating the shrimp and she was brought a side of chicken. She also ordered the house vegetables, but they never came and were removed from the bill. I was drinking unsweet tea and you guessed it, the refills, even though I reminded them I was drinking unsweet, came as sweet. The servers were all nice and attentive, but made enough miscues I could not give them 5 stars.

TLDR: The service was excellent. Our waiter was on top of everything and very friendly. The food was oversalted and I couldn't finish my meal because of it.The music was too loud to hear my companion.Longer version:I ordered a steak medium rare, and it came out blue rare. I requested it be sent back to be fixed, and it came out rare still. It was back for all of 2 minutes maybe. I took it home to airfry for a sandwich for later. The lobster tail was overcooked and incredibly chewy and the scallops were just a bit underdone, but overall fine. The mixed veggies were the most salty item. I had to spit out my one bite of them because the salt made my tongue hurt.I would recommend the pot roast nachos though. They were the best item of the night. They were absolutely loaded and we received an unexpectedly large amount for the price based on the other items on the menu. Ask for sour cream on the side for best experience.Wheelchair accessibility: They do not have extra wide doorways, but a wheelchair can maneuver in the restaurant, there are no stairs on the bottom level. However, there is not an automatic opening door. Assistance would be needed unless accompanied.

This was the 1st time we have eaten at Jeffrey Adams. We have only lived in Winston Salem for a few months and had never really heard of this restaurant. We found it and an available reservation time Menu looked good and so did reviews. We were not at all disappointed with this choice, The three of us each had a different beef dish. All were good. I had the evening special as it also had shrimp with the steak. Both items were very good. Daughter had Beef tenderloin with scallops also very good. Son had a New York strip. Desserts were also all very good. Ordered bread basket. It was ok but probably not worth the $7.00. Prices were reasonable. We will be back. Waiter was Stephen and he was excellent. All wait staff were efficient and very polite and efficient. Seems to be a somewhat hidden gem as does little advertising and does not appear to need to any. Restaurant seemed to fill up quickly on both floors.

We had a beautiful experience and dinner here last evening. Our waiter was amazing. His recommendations for the food and drinks were great. The food was delicious. We will definitely visit again.
