Attended a show held at the Mayfair Club on the evening of March 22. We were not impressed with the way that the event was handled by Mayfair’s management (NOT the fault of the performers or vendor, as they did not have control over the club/venue).The bowling alley in the club made it impossible to hear the performance and when concerns were raised to management, they were ignored. A birthday party of about 10-15 people was prioritized over what had to be around 70+ people trying to enjoy what would have been a terrific performance. The loud sounds of bowling balls knocking over pins and the very loud cheers from the players throughout the show was simply unbelievable. Nothing was done by management to address the problem or offer a solution.I am sad that we had this experience and that management was apathetic to the concerns raised by multiple audience members attending the show. After this level of disappointment, we will not attend another event at the Mayfair Club or give any future business to this establishment.

The place looked ok, hostess not very friendly, seemed bored and not personable, she handed us 2 very dirty menus. (food dirty). The drinks were bad a cosmo didn't taste like a cosmo and my husband ordered a vodka&tonic, and to tell you the truth I have never seen a pink vodka tonic, plus my husband said no alcohol, we ask why it was pink and waiter said bc bartender put cranberry juice!!! Salmon was raw, completely. Fortunately the waiter took that off our check. The place was very empty, the waiter was nice and pleasant but everything else was a lousy experience, will not go back.

There are other much better restaurants in WS. They are short staffed. Took forever to get food. We ended up leaving after apps it took so long. Food is sub par. The decor is also poor. Basically industrial loft with tables.

Mothers day brunch reservations for 5pm. Was a buffe, shrimp and oysters were out, no server at the prime rib carving station. Food that was there looked awful...Turns out they close from 5 to 6 so they took a 5pm reservation for a closed rest. $55 per head for cold stale food and marginal service.

We went for the Mother's Day Brunch. The earliest time that I coud get a reservation was at 2:30. We had finished our shopping early and decided to see if we could get in early to our reservation. We went at 2:10 and there were only a couple of tables occupied. I had to wait for someone to come to the podium. When they did, we were able to be seated earlier, so that was a plus. However, we had no idea who our waitress was. We were told by the hostess to go ahead and get our food at the buffet. My mother and I had to ask for our drinks at the bar and bring them back to the table ourselves. Later, once we were halfway through our meal, our waitress came. She was amazing. Overall, I wouldn't go back. The food was outstanding, especially for the buffet price, but there wasn't any flow from the hostess to the waitress to the bar or anyone to tell us where to go or what to do.

it was crazy to go for a $55 per person brunch that had self service water, no coffee, self service orange juice or mimosas, no desserts, no service , bus your own dishes. The only service was to charge us for the brunch and drinks. The food was good, but I the lack of everything else makes it unacceptable.

Got seated quickly and was only one other table seated when we arrived. Some apps came out appropriately but others didn't and had to ask several times for them. Several other tables were seated during this time. We watched at least 5 other tables who arrived after us get drinks, apps, entrees, etc rather quickly. Took an hour and 45 minutes for entrees to come out and after asking several times. Everything was cold and steak ordered medium rare came out well down and cold. Manager came over and apologized and comped half of the meal. After reading several mixed reviews before coming, we knew it was a risk, but wanted to support it as some reviewers mentioned being concerned that the restaurant wouldn't make it. After this terrible experience, I'd have to agree that it won't make it and we certainly will never be returning.

Place was empty except for the two of us, but we liked the quiet. Not sure of the intended atmosphere of the restaurant, because you wouldn't expect to see so many TVs in a place with their kind of fare and pricing. That being said, the food was outstanding, albeit a tad pricey. Duck confit egg rolls were amazing, and my filet was cooked perfectly. Service was decent, but given that our server was “forced onto the floor” that night, we don't think she had the appropriate training. We think she still did a great job though, especially considering how many people Roar had fired/laid off the previous week (not sure which was the case).

The food was excellent but the service was slow despite the restaurant not being busy. It took 30 minutes to get drinks. The live band was extremely loud to the point you could barely have a conversation.

Amazing food and service. Jeff was such a fantastic and charismatic server. The food was beyond expectations for a first visit. Had oysters to start. Omg. Loved it! For dinner, had a double order of the bacon wrapped scallops over a bed a rice pilaf and artichoke spinach and added a side of cavatapi Mac and cheese. SUPERB!!!

This restaurant has a mixed bag on the reviews about the service and the food. My experience (3 people dining on a Thursday night and there were probably 3 other tables occupied (10 people) so not crowded at all, which was surprising being a Thursday but our experience was quite pleasant the apps were really good and 2 of us got steak which were tasty and cooked as ordered...we wanted to try the sea bass but they were out which was a little bit of a head scratcher since it was 6:30 and only 10 other people there... service was on point but again only 13 people so not sure how it would be with a crowd...Will definitely give it another try ?

Live music inside of an enclosed and intimate restaurant is never a good idea. The performance itself was decent, however if I go out to eat at a pricey restaurant, I'd like to at least be able to hear the people who are sitting with me at my table. Service was also decent, our cocktails took a very long time. Food was subpar for the price, not terrible but also not delicious. Food for my boyfriend and I was over $200 but we both valued it around $100 total, IF that. This included a 22% gratuity charge, which we were happy to pay because our waitress was the best part of our experience. We probably would not dine here again.

We went for Valentine's Day dinner, about all I have to say is that they serve food. I'm not overstating, each and every item was under seasoned, the amuse Bouche arrived late and served on stale crostini, the soup which was good but thin, arrived early, the appetizer arrived incorrect (wrong one) and after our entree, they did bring us the correct one eventually, Lamb meatballs were bland and tasted frozen, the egg roll was tasty but under seasoned, our entree arrived incorrect (with the wrong side items) with asparagus and rice instead of as advertised broccolini and potatoes au gratin. The scallops were of a phenomenally high quality, and yet bland, the scallops tasted like the color white even wrapped in anemic bacon. The rice they were served on was the only thing with flavor all night and it honestly tasted like someone had simply spilled hollandaise sauce on top of basmati rice very simple and overwhelming though the lemony notes did add to the scallop. The dessert did eventually arrive we both ordered the black cherry cheesecake, and received yet again the wrong item. However this time asked to switch it for the correct item cause the other looked horrible, the cheesecake was dry and flaky but had a good flavor. Would have assumed boxed except there were LARGE size discrepancies between the 2 slices of cheesecake. All in all I would have preferred to spend nearly $200 on a dinner for 2 almost anywhere else. Very very bland, they sell seasoning all over the place if y'all need some. Salt, pepper, and some herbs would go miles.

Service was not good at all. I do understand it was Valentine's weekend however we were seated 30 minutes and had to ask for a server and drinks. It was a 4 course meal and they skipped 2nd course, we had to ask for that. Food was brought out sporadically and rushed at the end all totaling a 3 hour dinner. Mind you we also booked reservations a week in advance. When requesting the manager he was very rude and defensive and never apologized or came back to follow up with us.

Wow, where to begin. This place has a lot of potential to be great but they need some serious work. We made a reservation for 7:15 for the Valentine's Day meal. When we arrived we waited at the hostess stand for almost 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Another couple showed up behind us & that's when someone told us they would fine someone. Once we were checked in we were told it would be just another minute & to have a seat in the lounge area by the bar. We did & after 25 minutes there my husband decided to grab us a drink from the bar. When my cocktail arrived there was lipstick on the glass from another customer. Then after 30 minutes of waiting and watching 3 other couples get sat I finally asked if there was a problem with our reservation & the hostess realized she had completely forgotten about us. She apologized several times, once using profanity & got us seated. Once at the table we were greeted by our waitress who took our orders. The Valentines Day meal came with 2 appetizers & soup before the main course. One appetizer came out & when the waitress came to check on us she realized the other appetizer & soup had not came out. She told us she would get it out right away but when our main course came out & the other two started still had not made it to our table she rushed back to bring them out. Our soup was fishy & thin, the filet was way over cooked & resembled roast beef. Dessert was the best part but made us believe it was store bought. The atmosphere was advertised as a Roaring 20s theme but other than some large photos on the wall there was nothing 20s themed about it. There was a scene of disorganized chaos & tension in the air between all the team members & you could tell that no one really knew what they were doing. The lack of professionalism & hospitality training was astounding. My husband & I literally ended up laughing about everything throughout our entire experience because we had simply never seen such a mess of a restaurant.
