Fine spot but had some nerds ask us to sit down to watch a basketball game but played cards instead

Really great brewery with indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed inside the taproom, which I really appreciate since the winter is otherwise a hard time to visit breweries with pups. While their beers might not be the "best" in Winston, they offer a wide variety of beers and they are tasty! The bartender was great and you can order food from the restaurant next door, which makes it really easy to sit and chill for a while. We will definitely visit here again!

Good beer, small wine selection, great indoor space, nice bathrooms, outside food okay, food trucks most days, kid and pet friendly. Now offers limited cocktail menu.

The open interior filled with tables and adult beverage options of beer, wine, and mixed drinks spoke a "welcome" and "sit awhile" to me. On the evening when I visited, I chose the blackberry cider from Bold Rock Ciders (ABV 4.7%) and took my time and enjoyed the rich flavor as my daughter and I sat just outside on a beautiful evening. Plenty of seats provide a view of the park across the street and a very interesting 3-way intersection. My daughter and I ordered from the That Place in the West End menu using the QR code since they deliver right to the brewery. (I made the mistake of walking to the restaurant itself right next door). The Barrel Hall was a fun and relaxed place to hang out. The service was good and drinks on point, and I liked the option to order food that is delivered. I look forward to returning the next time I'm in W-S. Misc: Live music happens here. A few TV monitors up on the wall were streaming football. Child and dog friendly. Minimal parking out front with additional spots at the restaurant next door and on the street closeby.

Beer was excellent. Casual atmosphere open to outside with garage doors. The bartender was friendly.

Beautiful open garage refurbished in Westend! Lovely crafted beers, Sours, Pilsner, Ipas. If that doesn't suit your pallette there's wine as well as liquor. Plenty of seating inside and now a LOVELY DECK outside. PET, CHILD, FOOD and game friendly. They have daily drink specials, live music, music bingo, trivia. A well rounded spot for all walks. Check em out.

A+ for the space. Extra credit for a very decent tap list of solid beers and a small but serviceable list of liquors and a bartender that can whip you up almost anything you can throw at them. Joymongers is a great place to meet up with a group of friends. Want to bring them all? And I mean ALL OF THEM??? Joymongers is your place!! They've got something for everyone!!

I finally got to go to this Joymongers location. The interior is spacious, and very clean. The female bartender wasn't very attentive, and it wasn't that busy around 5pm this evening. I'm glad a second bartender came in and he was good. I'm not very familiar w this side of Winston-Salem, so not sure if there's parking available nearby. They only have a few spots in front of the bldg. The cider was tasty. I wish I would've had more time to explore the bars in the vicinity but I didn't have much spare time today.

Been here a few times for a some beers with friends and I've always loved it! The times I have been there have been great live music bands playing there too, so I would highly recommend going while one of these groups are out there playing. The brewery itself is nice and spacious giving plenty of seating option with out the stress of feeling like you are on top of other customers. And the outdoor seating makes for great vibes. Of course... as for the beer, I've enjoyed every beer I've had here. I had the Walloon this time which was like a malty amber ale and I loved it! They have plenty of great options to choose from and a style for every person. Also great ciders if beer aren't up your alley. Lastly, the staff has always been very friendly. They are always happy to offer small samples and answer any questions you may have. If you're doing a brewery crawl while in Winston definitely check this place out!

Fun place where anyone can go! Bring your kids, dogs, crazy friends. You can play music bingo and snack on flavored popcorn. I am not a huge beer person so the fact that they had wine and margaritas made my visit a win!

This is a cool spot. If you want to come here catch an Uber. Parking is very limited on this busy corner. The beer was very refreshing. I had the Bruxt IPA which is their hazy IPA. Great flavor, mild bitterness, and easy drinking. The place is well designed with an industrial style taproom. They have a lot of strategically placed sound boards everywhere to absorb the echo so it is surprisingly quiet inside. That's a real feat considering it's basically a large room with a high ceiling on a busy corner. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the place, the bartenders are very welcoming and friendly, and the beer is really good. Their pours are large and their prices are very reasonable. We paid $6 each for a generous pint. They have live music sometimes.
