Louie and Honey's Kitchen Reviews
The baked goods are house made and very good. They use Counter Culture coffee and I’m not a huge fan of fruity coffees. This bakery does ‘Amish style’ baked goods so I was really looking forward to trying them but also peeking inside of their culture a bit while in the store. Although the staff is friendly, no one seemed to explain the menu items, greet customers, and so forth. Even though the owners were there, they didn’t engage with customers or create the sense of...read full review
Long post, longer drive. After almost 3.5 hours in the seat, I was questioning my sanity. Why make this drive for pastries, I was asking myself. Well, I had never been to Louie and Honey’s Kitchen and I was "kinda" in the area today. I arrived today just before lunch, after pulling myself from my car seat, I go inside. When the smell hit my brain the "this is why I drove this far light" came on in my brain and that light triggered the "buy everything in the store light." LOL...read full review

Louie and Honey's Kitchen is a lively spot filled with people chatting, working, and socializing. The friendly and patient staff ensure a welcoming atmosphere, with community tables, bar seating, and outdoor patio areas. The bakery offers a variety of treats, including soft and delicious cinnamon rolls, savory rosemary cheddar scones, decadent chocolate cake, and large pieces of Key Lime pie. Customers often pick up whole pies and cinnamon rolls to enjoy outside or take home. The Key Lime Pie is unmatched—bright, balanced, and perfectly tart. The warm cinnamon rolls might just ruin customers for all others. While the food and service are highly praised for their authentic freshness and flavor, the seating can be quite uncomfortable, making it hard to sit long and enjoy the meal with friends. The self-serve setup for utensils and drinks allows guests to easily grab what they need. The recent remodel opens up the view to the pastry case—dangerous in the best way. Expect a line during peak hours, but good things (and good sugar) are worth waiting for. Louie and Honey's Kitchen remains a popular and highly recommended place in Winston Salem.
